Active Shooter Bag: Why I Dont Have One
i dont know about all my gear being on the back.i had a hard time getting to my canteen pouches on the sides of my rig. but to each his own.
I didnt like it at first either. I think this is best used with a pack that has a bladder. The bottles are more for static positions with other people around. It's definetly a "fighting" rig in my eyes
great video good kit have fun stay safe ,,,,,great channel i subd ,,,,,,mick out,,,,,
How do you find it compared to the Alice system? much the same/better or worse? like your video realy good set up!
My alice setup sits lower on the hips. And it doesn't hold near as much stuff nor is it as tight. I'd pick this one just for ease and fitment. The alice is way better for just making it custom or switching it for a lefty. Thanks for watching!
I am that guy who made the videos about this book. Got it from my friend Dan. He had tons of tricks and tips like this book. Cool guy.
Legend! I found it again! Good work this book is a constant re read in my library. ua-cam.com/video/_4Kj3WgSBHw/v-deo.htmlsi=dIxN2HR6xklXm_-4
Ur going to get ur self put in jail thinking ur going to war
Nothing here is illegal nor is the use of a justified defense. Though my bank robbing kit has way more than a couple rifle mags. The ski mask is pretty dope though. Thanks
@@MyrmidonPress yea jury will not see it that way when u had time to put a vest on and chose to go kill somebody when u could have escaped
What context are you using? Stopping an active murder of other people or fighting to maintain liberty are righteous. True 03 values that I know are taught is to run from a righteous fight to help people. Idk where you get that there is air of illegality behind anything, you clearly didnt watch. Do I need a license to use a road flare or toolbag?
Just a useless fact, DPM is the british equivalent to woodland, what youve got there is MTP, Multi Terrain Pattern, which is basically multicam except darker, its like, you can have my homework just dont copy it exactly 😂 i prefer the MTP purely because it doesnt “shine” as much compared to multicam. Even brand new kit, in my opinion doesnt need any breaking in period to dirty it up. Been out the forces for about 4 years now, but still use my webbing or belt kit for hikes and overnights in the woods, cracking bit of kit
I am super impressed with it so far. I am still testing it. Thanks for the knowledge
@@MyrmidonPress as for the officers pouch, commanders pouch, general purpose, whichever you prefer. Its just that a general purpose. Its a convenient pouch for section commanders to have their orders and anything admin related on their belt rather than in a pack. Youll notice in regards to backpacks, the beltkit acts as the waist strap, the pack sits on it and is like a one piece when worn together. Bergens youll notice, over here we have long back and short back, short back bergens are shorter and wider, work much better with the beltkit than the longback, which has the same capacity just taller and thinner. For an overnight bag, if your curios, any 45Litre pack would be plenty space for an lightweight overnight in good weather conditions. Any chance i get to talk about military kit, i jump on haha, i love the stuff.
I'm a fan of this type of stuff I am currently trying to make it work with a jungle pack I've got. A true bergen I can see is going to be perfect
@@MyrmidonPress you can pick up surplus british bergens for cheap, shipping will definitely ramp up the price. Personally i would stay clear of any surplus VIRTUS bergens, but that is purely because i had a bad experience, alot of unnecessary straps and things. Genuine JayJays is one of the leading companies that serving soldiers buy from, dragon supplies is another. You will find alot of tailored bergens, these are usually standard issue that have been taken to a company like jayjays or dragon supplies be modified. In my professional opinion, i would highly recommend a short back bergen to be used with your belt kit. Be aware though, alot of bergens often have missing waist straps, due to the belt kit being used as that, some soldiers prefer to remove the waist straps, which isnt ideal when it comes to using the bergen on its own. But like all personalised kit, theres always pros and cons
@@jockin_around8314 I can second the short back bergen as well, most soldiers dont fit the long back unless you are freakishly tall. personally using the dragon supplies advanced infantry bergen had no issues with it done lots of tabbing with it.
Thank you for the knowledge & resource
No problem there is plenty more to come
A "long seeing" scope?
It better be
She sure is pretty
Nice setup. I’ve got a couple savage 110’s and I’ve actually been looking to buy that exact same scope
So far I am super happy with the reticle for sure. I got the precision mounts and they are so noticeable in their strength immediately.
Go bag vid?
It is in the pipeline!
@@MyrmidonPress that's what she said
I like the way you think
No torch? (Flashlight) maybe I missed it
I usually have one in my pocket and there is one in my glove box (cheapo) and in my get home bag.
👍👍
USFS 1 quart canteen will fit in that mag pouch perfectly.
The British canteens are a little skinnier and might fit 2 in the big pouches
@@MyrmidonPress the oval shaped ones? Nope only one they are not space efficient. 1 USFS 1qt canteen for three mag pouch and 2 for the sustainment pouches, in my jayjays.
Do you have any Platac canteens? Those im gonna try out soon
@@MyrmidonPress yeah the platatac will fit in the three mag pouch but it’s very snug, I can only fit 1 in my sustainment pouches; but that’s my least favorite canteen to use because the square shape in the rectangular pouch leaves a lot of wiggle room but not enough in one space to be useful. The sadf 2L will fit in the sustainment pouches but the lid is pretty open. Also fits the pathfinder canteen/cup with more usable space than the platatac.
I do love my pathfinder stuff
Do you go around shooting people? What’s up with this setup? Maybe go join to military. Why these people always pretending to be soldiers. Go be one, it’s not that hard to get in.
Watch more videos man. I did my time. I thinks there is a load more other things (tools and such) in there than the two cup holders holding magazines anyways. Thanks
This video would make sense if posted on April 1
It is meant to funny
Also, if you do not own a reliable vehicle like Toyota and you are too far from the main road or away from civilization, invest on a durable hiking/walking boots with your get go bag to make it home or seek for help. Many Ford "fixin' on road daily" or old unreliable vehicles will most likely be stranded far from home and far from any help when venturing outdoors. Stay safe out there!
Tim Pool here. The left claims he’s right, and the right claims he’s a lefty. But all he does is present the news that the mainstream bias liberal activists “journalists” won’t air, then, he just adds his predictions. He also has governors, senators and famous people on his show. Including Trump jr. So he’s not some small timer 👍🏽
See, now I have to make one of these for my truck 😂👍🏽 so far, I just made a “4x4 must haves” now I have to make a set up video? Nice one and thanks for the idea
is your car window bullet proove
Most definitely not. I would use luck and good planning as armor, I suppose.
Hey brother thanks for the shout out! I got notifications setup for your channel now, i wasnt aware that you got your youtube presents up and going! Im watching this while sitting around at work haha!!
omfg do u playing a lot of zombie game or?
Nope just crazy
My GI issued m65 lasted over 20 years. Never lost a button and the zipper worked fine. The actual material it was made of wore out and it started looking like a ghillie suit. Lol.
Probably some elvish fabric at play here.
keep making videos brother so good! really loved the pipe one!
More tobacology is incoming. Thanks for watching!
I'd like to see a mk3 soon.
Same. This is a an awesome rig
The V2 14L daypack is on sale right now 90$ FYI (Ijust ordered mine), Great video!
Oh nice! They do sales on those so often everyone needs one. Thanks for watching!
I think it all depends on the timing you arrive and what you see is happening.
The chances are very slim when you learn about how long an event takes and how fast you can run.
On the flares, 2 is 1 and 1 is none? Always good to have a spare.
Got one in my GHB as well
Great video! A lot to think about, the four doors makes it easier. Some great ideas and I appreciate you taking the time to share them!
It’s sad, but the US surplus gear you show is the stuff I was issued in the 90s.
Well the stuff I had will all be dissientigrated by the time it's DRMOd
That A.l.i.c.e gear still in service in all latin American countries with some variation.
I love mine. I want another set that I may mod with some tactical sewing
In the video thumbnail you hold your hands palms down, what is it supposed to simulate? I've seen others also do this, but I can't think of any weapon or weapon system that would require a hand position with the palms down. I don't pretend to know everything and I'm not 'Trolling', I ask because I'm genuinely curious. Thanks
Everybodys "magic gun" is different. My wrists are made of broken glass and bubblegum so it's comfortable. I guess you could say it mimics the tension of holding one. Also the rule of cool is always in play. I think it looks better for video
Really good question, btw. Thanks for watching
Thanks for taking time to answer my question, and Thanks for the videos!!!
I have one as a GMH bag, good quality and comfortable, perfect to my mind as a GMB bag or day pack.
I love this rig
I currently rock the LBV 88 for a weekend a month at our cabin and hunting property. I can easily add a couple different pouches so the rig can be used with a shotgun or 10/22.
That is a great kit option. I wish I had better sewing skills I bet you could make some oddball super gear off that rig
Love mine. The only problem is no organization but still love mine. Great channel and videos.
Thanks boss! I may try that pull out org sleeve LBX makes next.
I grew up with deuce gear, but looking at eBay Prices, seems legit stuff has dried up. On the cheap the MOLLE Rifleman Set ($70 with assault pack), an LBV 88 ($40) or just a Chinese Chest Rig ($20) can do the trick.
Duece gear is mother to is all for sure. My buddy has a condor plate carrier and makes it work hard for him so it has to work
Great set up 💯
Thanks!
It is amazing how Woodland is making such a come back . It has always been my favorite pattern . Where I live in KY in the spring and summer, it is extremely effective.
M81 is gods plaid for sure

@myrmidonpress9230 a Keychain "rescue me" tool that has seatbelt cutter and window punch. Or, leatherman raptor shears you can fastens someway for easy access
@@MyrmidonPress Seatbelt cutter in the console or the glovebox
You said its wonderful being magic, but how does it feel being cringy?
Half decent actually
@@MyrmidonPress ROFL. Good answer sir.
If you plan on using it for fighting, it absolutely needs a light. Me must see what we are going to shoot.
Meant to buy bankline like 2yrs ago. Thanks! Cool shirt btw, would look dope w/ Gods plaid.
Changing out boot laces to para cord laces is a good little change.
