- Hey! today i invite you to sew the Chandler Trousers with me. This awesome and beginner friendly pattern is by Untitled Thoughts and has lots of cool variations. Because of the elasticated back waistband, they are super comfy and versatile. This pattern is available in US sizes 0-30.

Have you ever tried woven fusible interfacing? I prefer it to the standard Pellon you see at Joanne’s.

So impressed they look amazing and the video came out really well too. I’ve only sewn a pair of really rudimentary sweat pants before, would you say this is a good project to start out with? Seems pretty advanced but I’m excited to try 😎😎
This is a super beginner friendly project! It sews up pretty quick and with an elasticated waist, the fit is pretty forgiving! 🤍🤍
I love these trousers! I'm yet to try making trousers for the first time and this pattern is both what I would wear and not that intimidating!
Also just out of curiosity and because I don't understand - why is there a fake fly that is fully hidden inside even there? I mean you skipped that part entirely, but if you wanted to include it, couldn't you just topstitch with nothing inside? I've seen some other patterns with it too and I don't get it.

these are super beginner-friendly! you know, i dont really know, other than having the bulk there is replicating the bulk of a fly piece when there is a zipper. maybe topstitching without it would look a little flimsy or weird? who knows hehe i think if i wanted it for the next pair, id just install a real zipper.

Weird question- whenever I get a digital pattern the pdf comes as gazilion pages that I jhjave to stick together and cut, which never works for me 😟 how did you manage to print it all on one piece of paper?
thank you!! for print at home, i totally feel your pain! make sure to print them at 100% and i like to cut the pieces out as a i go, rather than putting the whole dang thing together and then cutting.
to answer your actual question, most PDF patterns will include a copyshop version that you can send to a local copy shop to have printed on 36" wide paper, or send off to a company like Patternsy or Brooklyn Motif, who will print them out and send them to you. I am very lucky to have a copy shop in walking distance to me, so thats what i normally do!
