You should make a mapping like this with different mild delay/reverbs effects for the midi fighter 3d. Love these quiet, but powerful sounds for your mix

You probably will regret it. Mapping is an absolute nightmare and the MF Utility is completely broken.
+Skyler Golden Nah, mapping is sleek easy even using modifiers. The only nightmare is the way NI list the mapping parameter.
Besides, what's up with MF Utility? I would like to buy one of the MF, but I don't know how bad the utility is. Ain't the utility only used for changing the LED color?
The Midifighter Utility has just been updated to 2.65 which is much more stable than it was.

Is there a way to have the release knob be post fader? In other words, I don't want it to have an abrupt stop to the echoes and reverb, but to allow a nice tail after I hit the release knob

Honestly, the MIDI Fighter Twister's biggest flaw is the side buttons. Form over function. Like Apple's one button mouse, trying to look sleek at the expense of ergonomics. People have actually come up with hacks to bring those buttons to the to of the unit. It's really screaming for a v2 with everything on the top.
Anyone using it with a Traktor Kontrol S8? Or any suggestions for effect mappings for the S8 to achieve a similar outcome without using the Midi Fighter?

Just installed this to work along side the sequencer....pure bliss! My only issue is a slight popping noise when selecting some FX, not sure what's happening there?...Kudos to Ean and the team...GREAT JOB!
I am having the same problem. It makes a bad buzzing sound when I select the FX buttons. I think it is taking up too much power/resources for my computer and puts it in the red for a slight second?? Anyone have a suggestion?

How did you get the Sequencer and the Gratification to work along side? what is the process of installation, I have being working with the sequencer for a while I'd love to have them work in different modes.

You need to install all the files (sequencer and fx) and select midi fighter for both in and out ports for both of them...
I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get a twister for a drum machine/ sampler for my house mixes

WOW 3000 USD for really old Design with technology.
Actually there is not that much new features on that mixer.
All that EQ cut effect was also available in the 80s
3000 USD for that mixer is a bit exaggerated. IMHO!

Each sequencer voice has it's unique CC so you could assign it to effects =)
that's what i was looking for. will try to get things set up and put my midi fighter twister to use asap.
help! i don't get it to work, and i have to idea why! i followed the setup instructions. i have the gratification mapping shown in traktor, in-and outport to midi-fighter, but all i get are led's in different colors. nothing at all happens, when i push buttons or turn knobs :-( can anyone on the internet help me?!

the beatmash especially does nothing.
Make sure all 3 settings in the in and outport are set to midi-fighter twister.
i already did so. well, it works now, but i think not as it is supposed to, certain knobs do something else then they're supposed to.
I really wonder if I could use this as the sole DJ'ing controller with Djay on iPad 🤔 EQs and filter on the sides, deck 1 & 2 levels/start/stop on the bottom middle 2, track selectors for each above, and 4 more for fx... hmmm... enough? would work? Hmmm... BTW, why do I even need EQs anymore, anyway? Maybe FX filters and FX all the way! 😀
Now I am using X1 and F1 but I am not using F1 that much as I expected. So right now I am really considering to replace my F1 for this one MF and thats just because you are making this mappings for MF which NI does not...Thank you

Actually I've got MFT and in the end I stayed with my F1 because traktor updated software with step sequencer. So I switch with my friend MFT for TK Z1 and now I am using F1, Z1, X1...and right now I really like this setup

I find a BUG of this mapping… regarding to the 14th encoder: when you turn this encoder all the way to the right, you cannot turn it off when you press the release effect button (encoder 16th), does anyone else have this problem? We all love this mapping, so DJTT plz fix it :p

How to Color Change Twisted Gratifikation.
Hi guys i‘m really glad with this setup bought the Twister 2 years ago in the States . Since this time i was building my room . Now everything is set up and i tried the Twister. As you see is my profile i‘m in love with the Chroma Caps . My colors for delays are green , filters white and reverbs blue . Ordered the last missing knobs a week ago . Now i want to change the colors of Twisted Gratification upper row blue 3rd row green 4th purple and red for release . 2nd not shure there is no white awailable . How is it possible to do this . When i change them and hit send to midi fighter everything stays the same. Greetings from Germany

or he had a remix deck loaded so u can isolate one of the for channels for fx's...
Deffinetly possible since the section view of the software, when you bother to actually look, shows that he has a song decompiled across 4 decks. Plus he does assign it to channges 1-4...so yeah...

Will be cool if u show how to map this style on XONE K1/K2 , but i think you will keep it to midifighter and secret for other controlers :(
late here but this mapping is impracticable for the xone K2 for the simple reason that you dont have endless encoders. Which means you cant just press release effect and every knob goes back to zero.
what are the songs that you used?
+israel0823 The pad sounds are from Deepchild - Dirt Thief and the vocal sample is from Radio Slave - Don't Stop No Sleep. Im not sure which tracks the other sounds are from. Hope this helps!
