My favourite channel discovery of 2023. The style, the narrative, the pure joy that comes through in every episode. Thanks for putting so much into these Andy, helps keep a less self motivated runner keep getting his shoes on and pushing himself to up the distance. Really enjoyed this episode. I think canal paths are perhaps my favourite place to run.
Honestly Andy I’m just beaming my way through this. Running with friends adds so much. I’ve just done a half today with my brother, mate, and his brother. The camaraderie was so good. Did an ultra with a friend in November. So much fun. And running a canal marathon with two friends next month both of whom I first met on an ultra last year. Running is brilliant. But this video - just epic
Thanks for the great company, Andy and Sam! Andy, wonderfully presented as always. Thank you for making this! Here’s to the Worcester-Brum Out and Back 100K in 2025! 🙈
Thank you Jill, it was a really good day out! The majority of my running friends I've met, have been met at parkrun! If you'd like to run with like minded people, maybe a running club would suit you!
Hi Andy brilliant video. You may like the Malvern Midsummer Marathon held in June. Rachel D ran it (smashed it lol) & made a great video. Huge congrats on Newport 🥂
I had a thought this morning, 'I fancy running B'ham to Worcester along the canal, I wonder if anyone has posted a video on this?' So, THANKYOU for your video, it looks awesome. I think I'll wait until the river is lower and get to lock no. 1. I'll let you know how I get on...
Cracking days running, more an adventure than a run, i need to complete the route both running and on the paddleboard, have done sections, so not far off. Great start to the year guys.
Thank you bud, maybe wait for a drier day on the paths as at times it was pretty miserable. Good craic though and a great sense of achievement at the end!
We only filled up a bottle at one pub en route, at the Eagle and sun. In seaosn I think a lot of the outdoor taps are working but that day nothing was. It wasn't warm so luckily didn't get through too much water! It's a great route, just maybe choose a drier day 🤣
@@itsonandy brill thanks. I think I know the pub. Last time I did from droitwich back and blew through 1.5l of water in no time but then again it was closer to 30c! Maybe a colder weather attempt is a better idea, may just wait for someone to clear the fallen trees 😄
Andy, Mack and Sam. Cheese Rolls and Bantz. Quality ingredients. “I don’t care if I shit myself now. No one will notice.” Think you might be going 40 years early on this one.
Andy what a fantastic video. Absolutely loved watching it. ❤ Mack needs to take care crossing the roads. April. (Mack's mum.)
... Haha x
Thanks April - that road looked worse than it was, and also Mack was definitely the fatherly sensible one of the group!x
🙌 Phil Babb reference - one for the older viewers there!
Hahaha I'm glad you got it. That still makes me whince!!

Thanks so much Neil! Great to hear that they help with motivation. Thanks for the kind words ❤️

Your run sounds great mate - makes it all go so much faster doesn't it! Cheers mate 👍🏻
I really enjoyed this video. What an adventure!!! Such a great friend vibe!! We need more of these types of videos ☺️🇨🇦
Thank you Sherry! It really felt like a mission, so glad that we completed it!
"This is where the posers of Bromsgrove come". Too true! Great video. Spotted a lot of familiar local landmarks.
0.62 miles in a kilometre.
You know its true... If I had a nice car/a lot of disposable income, I'd be up there all the time 🤣
Thanks for the great company, Andy and Sam!
Andy, wonderfully presented as always. Thank you for making this!
Here’s to the Worcester-Brum Out and Back 100K in 2025! 🙈
Could you imagine doing 100k in that mud 😭 I think in decent conditions going to Brum first, would be a decent day out!
@@itsonandyMay 2025. After we’ve recovered from any potential marathons and before the hotter days start hitting! Should be drier…
Great effort chaps! Enjoyed that one :) Sam coolly chomping while Andy and Mack struggled past the tree was class 👍
🤣🤣🤣 It was a closer shave than the video would have you believe, that slippy mud was nearly a one way ticket to splashville!
Watching videos like this makes me wish I had running friends 😀 looked hard work but so much fun👍

I can practically taste your friendship, your vibes are so strong 😂😂😂 fun fun fun to watch! More of that please! 🎉
Thank you! Hopefully more adventures to follow!
Nice to see a lot of my regular running routes on Camera...no wonder you were jogging around Arrow Valley on Saturday. Well done
Cheers Gary - yes them quads were in a bad state on Saturday!
Great watch! Well done on probably the worst conditions to get that route done. Nice to put a face to Mack as well 😁
Thanks Rach! Mack said he'd been tapping you up for course info, I didn't realise you'd done it before! So pleased we managed to actually finish!!!
Looks like you guys had a brilliant race. Nothing better then being out there with your mates :)
It was a good craic, good to be out with the lads!
Well done fellas 💪 what a great day out. That's what it's all about 😁
Nice one mate, was awesome to run a long way in company 👊🏻
What a road to follow 🤣 that makes it more fun with friends 😎 especially follow a different path because of a tree 🤣 thanks for the laugh 👌🫡
Nice one Richard, it was a great route 😎
Superb vlog again Andy. Really enjoyed watching your friends run with you. Such likeable guys 👏👏👏
Cheers Dean! It was a great way to take the worry away from doing a long run!
Loved the video, cracking up at the 'incident detected' bit! Great adventure
I was laughing for a good hour after that 🤣 Cheers mate 👍🏻
Amazing running fellas! Looks a lovely route along the canal, well minus having to get past the fallen tree 😂
Cheers Gez, it's a cracking route and that tree made the day even more fun!
Hi Andy brilliant video. You may like the Malvern Midsummer Marathon held in June. Rachel D ran it (smashed it lol) & made a great video. Huge congrats on Newport 🥂
Unfortunately I can't do it - I'm very interested to do it one day, my mate Mack is doing it. Hopefully it won't clash next year!
Fantastic video, really enjoyed this! Nothing like running a long way with friends :)
Thanks, we had an awesome time 😎💪🏻❤️
Epic adventure. A day you'll all remember. A good range of marathon entries there. All that way and denied crossing the final lock!
Gutted to miss out by a few yards. Who knows maybe a rematch is due one day soon.

Nice one mate - it's nice coming from brum as it's all downhill (mostly)! Great route and a good feeling of achievement!
Great video and running Andy and pals, that Maccy D must have tasted so good!!
Mate it tasted like pure heaven.❤️

Excellent mate!!
Cheers Chris!
Brilliant !
Thank you!
Hilarious, well done guys!
Haha thank you! It was a good day ❤️
I'm thinking of running to Bromsgrove on this canal as my longest run ever, hopefully the conditions will be better when I do that 😅
All the best with it!!! It's a cracker of a run 😎
Im on my first week on training for Manchester too hope to see Mac there.
Im aiming for anywhere close to 3hrs 🙂
Nice one Shane - If you see Mack going at your pace then tell him he's gone off a bit too fast 🤣
What a great day out. Well done.
Thanks Dorothy - it was a lot of fun ❤️
Great watch! Loved the dedication to the content.
Would like to find some Running Buddies in London to try and do the same!!
Thanks so much - I can imagine a canal run through LDN would be fun!
👌
Cheers bud 👍🏻
Happy New Year 🥳
Happy new year mate!
Great video again! Mind if i ask if/where you refuelled/filled water along the way? I live in Malvern and have had this on my list for some time now 😊

Funny as f***. Thats what's it's all about 👍
Nice one - we had a great time 👊🏻
I think Donato Esposito did this wakind on his channel a while back
Yes he has - it was watched for for course info!
hilarious. always carry a chainsaw in your backpack.😁
Haha, next time I'm taking one for sure! (And also my crampons!)
