Also to all, keep in mind that keeping our individual lives going, is helping keep the light in the world. It doesn't mean we ignore those that are suffering. It just means we aren't letting the darkness win. Keep the love and light going, while sending it to those in need. Thank you.

My creative muse broke up with me in 2020 😄 Since then I thought I'd been struggling but watching this video made me realise I have been creative just in other ways - gardening, cooking, leaf and feather hunting, even photographing a beautiful sunset or two. These aren't ways I wanted to be creative, I miss journaling, painting and card making but just can't seem to motivate myself. Even classes haven't worked. I have started hearing my beloved muse whispering from afar... maybe soon?

YOU! Are my all time favorite creative muse!💗 I love your raw authenticity and your commitment to your innate creative nature. How fortunate I feel that you take time to share your processes which always in spire me in so many ways. There is a spuritual element to all you bring to the world. I can only imagine what that might look like on a more personal level, but thankful for the enormous chunks you choose to share.
I'm so glad your health is improving, and it's obvious that your practice of connecting within and communing with nature are healing tools that thankfully work on a human level for us all if we'll only make those connections. I know it works for me as well.
As for our current world environment, I honor your ability to discern that the best way to be of service sometimes is just to open your heart and share your loving intentions to all those innocents that are suffering.
    Thank you Jenny😊 Have a glorious day💗 🌞

I agree with you so much. I've recently culled back my time online even more. I start each day with reading poetry from a physical book. I may read on my kindle later but starting with reading then going into my creative space and working with my ideas, hopes, questions before being exposed to anyone else's has been wonderful for me.

Can so relate to this. The need to have slower gentler input for creativity to happen. So much is coming at us all particularly the really tough things happening in the world and I feel slowing down is so important to maintain a bit of balance and calm. Loved the cabbage printings so much. Really loved this video. Gonna try this and with children i work with. They will love it! Thank you for continuing to create and share with us. Xx sending love for improved health and less stress. Xx

Glad to hear that you are taking care of yourself. I have been less active on social media the last few years. I'm in the US and politics is a big part of the reason why I participate less. It was/is not good for me to do too much.
And that crystal grid, swoon!! 💖 I am into Crystals, but have not done grids yet and have read up on it a little before seeing this. Now I really want to create one or many and use my creativity. What a perfect combination! Thank you for your vulnerability and keeping it real. You are an inspiration to me. 🥰🤗

I've never thought of using cabbage as means of a stamp! It does make a lovely pattern! :D I'd love to see how you use your crystal grids! I find trying new things inspiring because even if I get something wrong I learn something. I still have an inpiration jar from years ago and use it if I'm feeling an arty creative block. Also, the Feburary challenge on Journal workshops really helped by taking me back to when I first got into art journalling and remembering why I fell in love with it in the first place.

You brought up that you go to nature to inspire you. That is usually first. I find inspiration in nature. This time God gave me inspiration. I praised God. I thanked my Lord for everything and the very air I breathed. When I thanked him and praised him he gave me inspiration and blessed my art. Jesus said we are to praise the Lord. So I lifted up praise and he brought inspiration down to me. It lasted all week! That’s how I do it! I praise the Lord! We are all suffering around this world. So much trouble and perilous times. Jesus can be our strength. Loved your video.

Sometimes just giving myself “permission” to be uninspired is very helpful. Followed by a walk in the woods and doing something small or different art-wise. ♥️ Loved the cabbage leaf printing!

I adore you. You help me with ideas. And then I come up with my own. I totally agree with finding inspiration other places. I love journal workshops site. It feels less competitive and more inclusive. Do your thing right? I am begging the universe for true help for all oppressed and ravaged people. It’s frivolous to have fun while others are tortured. Is it? As your other viewer Fonda mentions we have to keep life going so there is a light in the world. We cannot allow it to go dark. I’m not sure how to keep that light with so much trying to shadow over right now. Faith in humanity and how the arts really define us and lift us up. Thank you! For sharing you and your crystals. You should show us about them. That would be wonderful. Best. Terrie

I'm happy to hear you're starting to feel better.
I find inspiration from a lot of places, it actually can get to be a little overwhelming sometimes...
a song lyric, something someone says, something I see outside my window (like amazing sunsets or sunrises - might inspire neat colour combos that I wouldn't necessarily come up with my own), ... Etc....

Completely understand and I don’t feel an apology is necessary. You are inspiring me to look after myself during these terrible times, so thank you for posting this honest video. Absolutely loved your crystal grid, I would love to see what you did with it afterwards. I’m just a crystal beginner so I’m off to search through all your other videos to learn more, that’s if you have done one 🤔. Sending you loads of love ❤️

A quick question when your making the heart/ butterfly beads and you use tacky glue, can you use pva glue? As with the other glue and cutters building up expense, I’m trying to save cost so it would be great if you could use pva glue

    • @jennibellie
      @jennibellie  2 роки тому

You could, but I'm not sure it would hold as strong as long as tacky glue so my advice would be to seal it on the edges as well as you can if using PVA to give it extra strength.

@@jennibellie thank you for replying. I think I will invest in tacky glue then, as your beads are so beautiful. I’m a new subscriber and I’ve been loving making the paper beads. When all my cutters, glue etc comes I’m going to try one of the butterfly beads. Hopefully they come out as amazing as yours. I’m a dog lover so I’ve ordered a dog shaped cutter. I’m going to attempt to do the dog charm, fingers crossed 🤞 they come out great. I will post the pictures on your blog when done. Thank you. Xxx
