Jennibellie, more than 10 years ago, I searched in Google, to see if there were other people that used recyclable paper materials to do art and your video, came up. I was healing physically and also recovering from a back injury from a car accident. You and Shannon Green, among other artists were my form of entertainment and inspiration, to become a Mixed Media 🎨 Artist. I already was a singing and performing artist, and a personal fashion and an interior designer designer but, the love of color, paper and the determination of doing more with less. Thank you, thank you, thank you and thank you for coming back to UA-cam.

I started mixed media because of you, and I am very grateful to you. I was just blown away when you made your own stamps, used cardboard boxes, made earrings from tissue boxes...on and on. I never knew I would relate to someone and what she does the way I did! I would probably still be making scrapbook pages, but mixed media just is EXACTLY what I didn't know I needed! So, thank you for your sweet ways and your brilliant creative mind!!

Congrats on healing yourself! I have chronic health problems from a combination of genetics & environment, and have recently realised I have to be much more careful what I eat. It's challenging but I'm grateful I have found something that works

It was you that got me experimenting with mixed media around four years ago, as I came across one of your tutorials and was inspired by your beautiful and expressive art. I always return to your videos, as I find both your art process (which you generously share, as in this video) and your conversation so interesting, and a lot resonates.

I am glad you are back. I have been a fan for at least 12 years, have you been on longer then that? My heart broke through the years when people began doing things that you did years ago and taking credit for doing it first. smh I am still a member of your online, and tried it, but I am not into communities any longer. I am bed bound and I had to find a way to craft and have ended up putting all of my art supplies in carts for paints, punches, machines, etc., and the rest is on carefully labeled and logged shelves where I can tell someone exactly what I am looking for. My first journal I made was because of you, and I have progressed from there. Take care and I pray the best of everything for you. (hugs)
Aww what a lovely comment Lenella. I know what you mean about people taking credit for others ideas. In reality, there's nothing new in crafting (Picasso and Braque were using newspaper and found items in collage over 100 years ago and who remembers Teesha Moore?) I get saddened when I watch people art journaling "Teesha Style" without even a backwards nod, let alone a mention of where the artist was inspired from. But one good thing is we are all still real artists, real people, using tangible real things... which in todays AI art generated world we have to appreciate 🥰

Welcome back!! So lovely to see you again! Yes, your past year has been difficult (wow!) but I’m thankful you are excited about the future. I am on my third computer since you started the journaling workshops, so not only had I forgotten how to get there, I never really went there much anyway because it’s so much easier to spend a few minutes watching a tutorial on UA-cam when I can and easily go back and finish watching if not enough time. (I watched this one from start to finish). I was looking for your old video on paper beads when I found this upload. You are always my favorite!!

health is priority 1, its become the norm in n unconsciously competent flow... its morphed all areas, even exposing hidden unhealthy habits seemingly unrelated to food, like overthinking, overtalking, etc ... totally relatable sis... even in absentia, yr influence persisted artwise, ii'm so happy yr sharing afresh... we do get past the ugly stages, one breath at a time... the good efforts maintain themaelves don't they, as we truly feel the difference & old addictions fall away... cheerleading your progress from the back 40 in houston... hugs.

It's great to see you back on YT! I've also had a rough couple years, mom died in late 2022, best friend died May 2023, found out I had cancer that summer and have been going through treatment since. I'm doing really well now, yes diet really helps! You have been missed and I look forward to seeing you create!

42:35...the commentary that started there...ME!!!!!!!!! A few years ago I got hooked on saving and paying off bills...BUT then I just wanted to use money again because like you said there becomes a need or a reason such as organizing lol!!
