Beautiful car! And I’ve had from a 1972T on up. Today’s Porsche cars are MUCH better than before; thanks to a myriad of reasons, but liquid cooling being a big one.
rvm2112 Thanks, much! When I built my car on the Porsche configurator, I was trying to have a mono-tone look with blue & silver so I changed the colored wheel center caps to silver/black to maintain the look. You’ll also notice I switched the yellow turn indicators to the clear European lenses. Honestly, I can’t really think of one single option I’d change. If I wasn’t considering ordering another 911 with the PDK gearbox, this car would be a keeper. I’ve always driven/raced manual Porsches but now that I’m getting much older, I may change over to the autobox........it’s also a fantastic transmission and it will just extend my driving for another decade. I’d hate to stop driving strictly for aging issues.
Yea, don't let a little thing like a transmission get in the way of driving the car you want. I bet the 718 Cayman and Boxster are great with the PDK transmission. Especially with the 718's mid engine, I'm sure it handles great too.
rvm2112 Oh, it won’t get in the way! I’ve been driving Porsches for almost 40 years and tracked them for 10 years. I also raced motorcycles for 15 years. I’ve always loved manual boxes, but will probably switch to the PDK sometime next year. I had a 2016 Cayman just before my 2018 911 and still haven’t decided which model I’ll buy next. Both are great cars! Due to the mid-engine in the Cayman, it actually handles better than the 911, but the rear engine car really pulls as you exit a corner. I only have room for one in my garage, so it will be a tough decision.
@@18echosf Beautiful car Adrian! I just ordered a 2019 Targa 4 with the manual gearbox. I'm 66, but I figure I can always trade for a PDK 911 if the stick shift turns out to to be too much of a hassle. But if I hadn't got the manual now I think I would always be kicking myself for "settling" for an automatic. All of my previous Porsches and VW's have been manuals, so, like you, I have nothing to prove. They say the PDK is fantastic!
Beautiful car... The older cars don't hold a candle to the modern cars as far as performance goes... Fuel injection, 4 wheel disks, etc.. Anyone who thinks otherwise hasn't driven a modern sports car....

Adrian as you know there is always one A-HOLE out there, love your 911! John O
Hey Adrian. She’s a beauty. Enjoy.
Most beautiful car
That’s a beautiful car you have. Those black and white caps on the sport wheels look fantastic!

Adrian, Sir I think your car is great. My dream is to own an 911.
Love the tweaks they did to the 991.2. I just need them to depreciate about $20 more grand!!!

Is the turn signal still yellow when you turn it on?
A Google User Yes........it’s completely clear when off and blinks yellow when activated.
