Just so people know,I've been a happy go outfitters quilt lover fer 3 solid years,I got mine as a budget first option I planned to upgrade and never found the reason. Season after season I have only removed it from its stuff sack to hang it and camp and the combo still keeps me warm in the snow. I have upgraded every piece of gear from my start in hammocks except my quilts,and that should say something,a little bulky compared to some,but i wont change. Go Gooutfitters.ill never stop.

Oh just got today & nice underquilt! Was wondering to use clips with the hammock do you run the shock cord threw the loops on each side of the underquilt then tie off at ends?
Maybe I missed it but can you tell me the specifics of the underquilt? Weight and packed size, etc.

How do you know how long your ridge line should be ???
Sorry for the delayed response! 83% of the hammock length when it's stretched out is the standard recommended length. You can go a little longer or shorter. To determine the length that you like, experimenting is the only way.
