    And, does it work?
I am using a 2 person sleeping back now and just tie it around my hammock. It works really fine and I can pull it up all the way to the top of my DD Frontline so I am completely snugged in.. however it is heavy: 4 kg. I am thinking to start using half only - instead of double layers - and see if the insulation effect is still as good. Also, I noticed that it is important to tie it very good around my feet and head area so no cold wind comes in. So what I am using is longer than what you made. Didn't you have cold feet in the way you made it? I like how you used the elastic band. I might copy that if I start to adjust my sleeping bag underquilt into a DIY underquilt.
    Thanks for the video!
P.S. at the 2 min. timestamp in this video you can see what I am using.. however here my feet end is still too open. I learned to tie it strongnand close the gap:

      Hi Tom!
Yes its works. But if i make a new one i will make it wider beacuse I can't lie so comfortably now. The body i force to lay like an banana. For the feet i use down boots inside the sleeping bag and on my head im using my diy medieval hood made of wool. ua-cam.com/video/HO61OzuSogo/v-deo.html so no problem with the cold. I havent tested the underquilt below -5 degrees celsius. Like you video, looks like you had a nice trip. Take care and have a fantastic 2023.
