President Rodrigo Roa Duterte was welcomed by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at the Prime Minister’s Office in Tokyo.
Upon the arrival of the President, the national anthems of the Philippines and Japan were played and the two leaders inspected the Self-Defense Forces Honour Guards thereafter. President Duterte bowed in front of the Japanese flag, while Prime Minister Abe did the same to the flag of the Philippines.
As soon as they returned to the dais, Consul General Marian Jocelyn R. Tirol-Ignacio, Charges D’ Affaires of the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo, introduced the members of the Philippine delegation to the Prime Minister while Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines Kazuhide Ishikawa introduced the Japanese officials to the President.
President Duterte is on the second day of his official visit to Japan upon the invitation of Prime Minister Abe.

There Type 4 Rifle's based on the M1 Grand only 200 rifles were made as prototypes 125 of them are used by the Ceremonial Guard. They share the same ammo as the Type 99 Arisaka. Germany also copied the design of the M1 Grand.

Interesting to see that when the soldiers lower their rifles, they simultaneously drop it on the floor. My training then on the air force was to lower the rifles softly, without a sound.
Depend on military traditional. In my country they try to make a sound every single move and sync with the music.
tbh in the Philippine they lower it silently except for silent drills and slow drills which makes a sound like a click

Japan align with the Philippines for a long time and the relationship just go stronger, relations with China are getting better also. To combat the US menace. The US tried to convince both Japan and the Philippines most recently to fight China, this is not acceptable and to stir up infighting. The US as usual makes very bad long term decisions.
