I did this with a Honda Civic and saved bunch of money to buy my house. Kept it 3 yrs then sold it & moved to California. Now I'm paying $2k a mo in rent for an apt I hate with horrible neighbors. I'd rather save that $$ and be free again. I just bought a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 3 months ago! Thanks for your inspiration!!😁❤
I'm laughing so hard right now because I subscribe to your mom, too, and I watched her complain about the garlic powder and coconut oil and tell us that you were sending her some! 😂
You are SO lucky to have the opportunity and couage to live the life you do Loui. I'm sure millions of others are envious of your lifestyle. Every day is different, not stuck behind a desk staring into a computer screen, folks must become so bored, but accepting of their lot. I've travelled and camped throughout the four corners areas for years. Love a tent life too. Keep on doing what you enjoy, life's too short to do otherwise.
You rock! Your personality is so infectious! The pride and joy you have for this lifestyle just beams off of you! And I can't even imagine how brave you must be to do all this! I'm loving the journey!! Thank you for taking us along!
Good evening from Godley Texas, thanks for taking a moment to share why you do what you do. William is the perfect traveling companion..... nonjudgmental. Few people can escape the dreaded laundry day. Great location peaceful and scenic. Nice innovative way to get fuel to the heater. Yummy looking meal. Thanks for letting us ride with you. Live life to the fullest. Stay safe and happy travels 😎
Your life looks so peaceful. I just bought a Jeep Wrangler so I was looking for videos where people were camping / and or living in their Jeeps. Your dog is adorable and looks so happy. The ramen recipe looks good. Thank you for sharing your life with us. I just found you today so I subscribed and liked your video and I will go ahead and binge watch your other videos.
That's the beauty of the jeep, couldn't do all that off-roading with a high top, even if it had a lift (can you do a lift on a high top ? I guess...), anyways you got the best option and security so to speak. Go where angels fear to thread.
Very well said my dear. Live your life! ❤ Oh I'm so happy you mounted that tank outside. 👍🏽 I love Curry Ramen and I also use both kinds of Tamari. Mom is from Okinawa, so like you...we never make stuff the way the package says. LOL Our way is better than the restaurants! 😊 Beautiful views. I love living in CA. ❤
I get the feeling you were just speaking for William. Because he looked like he was knocked out l o l😂😂😂 Getting those pup naps in. Safe travels #artisbluu
I live the jeep lifestyle also and prefer it over a van or RV since I can get to off the beaten path places without the stress or worry about damaging the vehicle or getting stuck.
Miss living like this out of my SUV😢 currently doing seasonal work now and it's fun on off days for day trips but just to be outside in the elements with all your creature comforts is wayyy more rewarding esp with a view
You can't go wrong with curry powder and coconut milk 😋! I take my 2 wheel drive short bus places it has no business going very frequently. I recently drove it on a very treacherous OHV trail to get to a hiking trail up Cummins Mountain near Quartzsite. If I had a jeep I would probably have fewer heart attacks over these adventures 😄
There is also free camping in Alabama Hills in Lone Pine! The view of the Sierra is even more amazing there! That's where people do most of their climbing, too! I love sleeping in my jeep there.
Absolutely a beautiful video. I subbed ages ago. This is the first notification I received from UA-cam. I came from FF channel. Great to see you. Stay safe.
I was half way through eating a large bag of potato chips when you said "I should probably stop snacking and eat some real food" and I felt called out. 😂😂 William is soooo cute cuddled up in bed.
Hi Loui & double ear rubs William ! Good job on your added conveniences ! It’s like you say to each their own & when there’s a will there’s a way ! Meal looked delicious & the location was awesome ! You both basque in the sun, stay warm & keep smiling !
Love your vids! I had the privilege of touring AZ, NM, and UT living out of my van for a couple months out of the Corps and it’s tougher than folks realize. You have to have a great attitude because, yeah, crap happens all the time. Stay positive…thanks!!!
Advent Lui, you are one great kid and William makes a terrific side kick as well. I hope you can catch up with old Foresty again for some more climbing? You guys have fun, the years race by too quickly.
i'm in a minivan now and i've been liking it better than a full size van.. our other van wasn't that much bigger and you couldn't stand up anyway so i'd rather have the better gas mileage lol
Eastern sierra doesn't get enough love imo. Should definitely check out some of the campgrounds at the base of Tioga pass next to Lee Vining. Cheap, first come first served, and super peaceful
I have been researching the millions of options of living on the road and recently came to the realization that my (paid off) 2 door wrangler might just be the answer. I wouldn’t have to sell my car which is the biggest plus. However, I have the smaller version and would want to add a small trailer. I’m looking for people who are living out of their jeeps and how they’re making it work for them! I would have to make some upgrades to my car in order to make it more comfortable. Brakes, sound, smoother ride… etc. hope I can find some useful info around here. Love from Florida! ✌️
It frees you from the anchor of debt. Most people they go to work because the bills motivate them to and in return they can have one month out of twelve off. A 132 days off out of 365 that's 233 days of work. If you have weekends off and 28 days of "holiday". Being debt free you have more control of your life. If the vehicle is paid off then other than insurance, fuel and food expenses are pretty minimal.
The funny thing is I lived in a car not by choice and I didn't get paid for it either, it was hard times then, now a days, you'll come across people who live out of there cars by choice and they get paid alot of money doing it, who would have ever known.
I so enjoy the gas mileage. I get traveling the country in my prius. But I'm really contemplating getting getting into A. 4runner so I can go to off road as well. It's been difficult to justify going from not having a note to paying 500 plus a month for a vehicle. But I'll keep thinking about it. Well, maybe I'll just rent when I get places to go off-road.
@AdventureTimeLoui Thanks for that. I have a quick question for you. Have you had the opportunity to go through south Tunnel view into the. The grand view of the Yosemite national park? If so, did it blow you away as well.
Need more positive people like this young lady. 😊❤
Amen❤
I think “dreams look different for every person” hit the nail on the head.
Like the five gallon's of diesel for the heater. I might want to protect that line a bit better. Anything off grid is my kind of video.
found you through foresty forest, the kindness you show is truly a reminder how there is some kindness left to go around!
Big fan of these “day in the life” vids showing your routine. Great commentary and footage as always!
Thanks Hugh! ❤
My Lil dogger Lucas Duke wanted to send some treat money for your dogger : )
Aww thank you fren! Give your pup an ear scratch for me!
Wow. ❤

Thanks my friend 🥰
Restoring my Land Rover 🇬🇧. Great inspiration
Awesome ideas on the diesel fuel/pump, adding all the extra ingredients to the ramen and the rooftop carrier. Blessings dear ones🌱
Loui you’re really cheffing out there in the desert!
Great upgrades! Thanks for sharing your journey and adventures.
Another lovely, fun video. Thanks for sharing.
Whoever created Jeep Wranglers... thank you 🥰...now that's how you eat Ramen 🤤
Invermere...have camped there numerous times..so beautiful.
I'm glad you've been enjoying time with Foresty also.
Cheers, from Canada!
Happy trails 🍻👨🏻🏭🇨🇦

Nice to see you on my screen again Lassie. Looking forward to seeing more climbing with Foresty and Rocco and Willlam. 🏴👍
I really enjoy your energy and personality. I can't wait to live this life!
This is great and can be a lot of fun. I do weekend tent camping in the Great Lakes area with a Subaru. Keep warm out there!

Great shots of the views! And William is giving main character vibes.
Live it! Love it!
A new lifestyle, under industrial civ's aegis, is born. Reminds me of Truman Show or a Pynchon character from his novel "Vineland."
Live life and be happy 😊
Thanks!
thanks for the support 🥰
Beautiful thank you for sharing. Stay warm.
Living vicariously through you! Thanks, Loui💖
Beautiful spot 😊

Your meal looked very tasty. William is one of the most chill fur babies that I have ever seen. Safe travils.
Love that shot at the end with the dog under his blanket!

You’re a great example & keep doing you. People are full of opinions & they’re the ones doing nothing & wishing. Kudos to you.

In my area, dispursed camping is regulated. No more than 2 weeks stay at a time & no more that 30 days per year
Hope you got to hot springs!!

The lock on your roof box will keep tapping on your solar panel glass until it eventually cracks
Day in the life of a cubicle rat: watching adventurers like you on UA-cam...❤
We all making the best of our lives
I love Bishop! Hope you get a chance to stop by the famous bakery. So good!
GREAT VIDEOS!!! I hope youtube ups your pay they are making us watch commercials for 30 seconds throughout the video. Raise the rates!!
great job
