Hey Wood Jr! My husband and I were watching your 1st IBA video and wanted to add some clarity on the directions the fellow biker was trying to share just in case no one mentioned. When he talked about the route he takes from Odessa, he meant I-20 to I-49, not the US49 you actually took. I-49 is out of Shreveport and would have taken you straight to I-10 which would have allowed you to keep your speed up. Just a friendly tip from fellow bikers. Keep the rubber to the road and keep inspiring!

As a matter of fact, I live about 15 - 20 minutes away from the Mother Chapter here in Southern California. They’re a class act organization. 5 Star ⭐️ for sure. The brotherhood is out of this world. If I was to ever join a MC, it would be Rare Breed for sure. However, as the brothers in the video said, it take a lot of dedication and it’s a way of life. I’m not ready for that. I have my job, wife, kids, and grandchildren plus my church that take up the bulk of my time. But the MC, always come 1st. I don’t think that I’ll ever be able to make such a commitment. Born and raised in Louisiana. We get use to the bad roads here, but when you ride to other places and see their roads you really realize how bad it is lol. Anytime we get a lil road renovation going, a hurricane comes and puts us back to square one lol.
Congrats on another IBA CHALLENGE!! Man, trip planning! Trip plan, trip plan, trip plan!! Dont rely solely on that GPS, get you a rand mcnally hard back atlas!! It will save you headaches!! HWY/USxx/SRxx- those are highways and state routes, not INTERSTATE ROADS Time management is a huge factor as well. Gotta set a pace not only while riding but also when stopping for fuel/bathroom breaks/food stops. You killed alot of time helping ol googly eyes in madison getting her that slushy tuna sandwich and pickle!! Great video nonetheless!!!! Ride safe and happy motoring!!!
My bike has a g.p.s. I have my cell phone with g.p.s. and I carry a road atlas. Each evening while I am traveling I look at my atlas and look at my route for the next day. Or if I am at a lunch or dinner stop I look at it. Been a few times where folks come up and comment that they haven't seen an atlas in years.

If you leave Dallas at 347 am central time. So at end time would have been 447 am eastern time. You only had had 210 leave at 115 eastern time mean 1215 central

When I get a room I always try to park my bike in front of my room or park it where atleast I can see it or near the front desk so the hotel staff can see it. When I get a room I always try to park my bike in front of my room or park it where atleast I can see it or near the front desk so the hotel staff can see it. When I get up at night when nature calls I look out the window just to make sure she is still there or nobody is hanging around it that shouldn't be
