People have put so many things on go-carts... Hell I've seen snowmobile engines slapped on go-carts as well as crotchrocket engines... Nothing like 600(+)cc engines on a tube frame for fun.
Excellent job. Greg you guys have stepped it up a notch. You're living my dream. God bless. I'm almost 60 now I can build just about anything but never had the support system in my life or the people to believe in me. Keep turning it up.
Harley powered Kross Kart,Hell yeah! This kart is going to have a ridiculous amount of power when you get on the skinny pedal. I can’t wait to see ole Red Beard tearing up the field as he takes this thing for an old rip snort!!!
LOL...this build is awesome and all. But really? ridiculous amounts of power? This is the same engine people want to call "girl bikes" It makes 53hp. He had more than that in several other projects now. Just comical to hear HAHA..
Ridding the carts is awesome, But building them from scratch how cool and all the cool tools. Y'all have come a long way. I do miss mini bike Monday tho.
Love the idea of a V-twin cross kart. A sport bike engine is great for wide open space but the torque of a twin seems better suited for riding in and around the Smokies.
Love the build. But just maybe you might want to slap in a 1200 kit or at least a bigger cam. That is a lot of steel to pull around and I get you have a 72 tooth sprocket but you you're asking a lot out of that 883 with 30 inch tall tires, all that tubing steel, accessories and your weight, you're going to be pushing the scales. Awesome build dude. I love how your your dude is sharing his learning experiences with the lathe. Keep on rocking brother 🤟
I absolutely love my Sigemund table. thank you rbg. it truly make a big difference in how straight and square you can weld something up. they are worth every penny paid for it.
i was literally laying in bed and wondering why most of these channels havent used a harley yet!?!?!?!?! then your freakin video pops up. we are of one mind
I've said since ya started building your buggies and finally here it is the most AMERICAN CART YET! Would love to see another one built after this with a softail or electraglide motor and trans maybe like a twin cam efi maybe a six speed but if can't find the right one with the six we'll guess a five will be OK! Love how it's lookin so far great work RBG! KEEP IT COMING!
I'm so freaking stoked for this. Been waiting on an actual builder to do this so I can use ideas lol I've always wanted to do this! Congrats on the opportunity, good things come to good people 🤘
That is definitely one of the saweetest welding tables I’ve seen. I wish I could afford one…lol. Cool build! I don’t think I’ve seen a buggy with a Harley power plant until now. That should haul some ass!
I'm genuinely so happy for you. You have a chance to live your dream. God has blessed you. We can see that you poor you heart into every build. Thank you for the videos.
Dang Greg oh my bad I meant Mr milk knees you need a Bridgeport and a CNC table like c and c has and you'd be fully equipped hope you eventually get all that equipment there bubba.!!¡
Good call on the redo!!!! I hate the blocky looking buggy/carts! When i saw the initial build i was thinking nooooooo, but it looks so much better now!
Honestly if you chrome this frame. It would shine beautifully and have the muscles to match. Great looking frame. Maybe in the future make a 2 seater one but not side by side. One seat in front of the other like a fighter jet style. That would be amazing! Keep up the wonderful work and God bless you even more than he has!
I chatted at length with a guy that builds and sells custom ground up dune buggy frames about how it compares to motorcycle trellis frames. He explained to me about frame design and chassis supports. Between two horizontal supports he triangled it out and had no vertically running frame bits. How do you decide how to brace the frame.
This build is awesome it's another great build of yours. I like how you are always sort of outside-the-box with things. You aren't that 1 million guy that puts a crotch rocket engine in a buggy LOL. Granted, that Harley motor will probably leak oil and stuff LOL. But I'm very excited about it and I love that you went with that motor because it's different. Maybe you can be the guy that builds that engine to where it won't leak and is reliable LOL. This is going to be super cool to watch! Keep up the good work guys!
Years ago I got to see a very nice engine swap mating a Harley engine to a Type 1 Volkswagen Transmission, only thing it was missing was a set of symmetrical pipes that crossed left to right.
For entertainment purposes I'll let you know also, that my three-year-old is watching this with me and she said, look daddy that Daddy man is building a big tractor. She has much to learn LOL.
what an awesome build! it is impressive how much work you got done in one episode! i watch builds like this all the time, and this is the quickest ive seen a chassis come together, i can see that table truly helps a ton. good job! cant wait for the next episode!
One thing i can say is make a point to get a large oil cooler for extra oil they need it even in the bike form and at least upgrade clutch or just springs make big diff cause of weight.and look into newer bike with fuel injection possible wrecked bike to save money .the possibility of tuning and haven the gauges working would awesome to see this build always want to do one because had so many family members and friends that worked for Harley Davidson in York pa learn alot funny though own more Japanese bike then Harleys lol (Honda's) run for ever.
I was sorry to hear about Lonnie leaving, though I completely understand why. I enjoyed his attitude and sense of humor. Hopefully you still have him back on occasion and/or for special events.
I gotta say that RBG has been holding it down for a long time. Always putting out new content and working hard. But I just can't say that their builds meet SEMA level builds. This is not a jab to RBG it's just reality. SEMA is where all the top dogs present the best of the best and then some. For some this is make it or break it. I really would love to see RBG to freaking kill it. But 1month is really not a lot of time. I'm rooting for ya'll
Love this!! Congrats and can’t wait to see it complete! If you decide to get crazy with the engine check out hammer performance awesome 1275 kits for the 883
Hell yeah! I knew it was a matter of time before someone put a real vtiwn in a cart. It's gonna sound so sick! 💯👌
People have put so many things on go-carts... Hell I've seen snowmobile engines slapped on go-carts as well as crotchrocket engines... Nothing like 600(+)cc engines on a tube frame for fun.
😅😂🤣👌🏽
I already did.
Now I am looking for someone to put the goldwing 1800cc engine in something, already shaft drive and sound mean when piped
With the front cylinder behind the seat you will need a external oil cooler mounted where it can breathe or it will overheat.
Its gonna need head fans too!!! The poor thing is gonna melt behind that big ole seat!!
It’s gonna be fine.
Run two big twin oil coolers and extend the capacity of the dry sump tank.
Make sure the coolers have 12v fans and you’ll me good.
The dance was classy. Much appreciation 😆
Excellent job. Greg you guys have stepped it up a notch. You're living my dream. God bless. I'm almost 60 now I can build just about anything but never had the support system in my life or the people to believe in me. Keep turning it up.
Mrs Redbeard is gangster looking right at the tig welding.....now I'm seeing spots lol
I was gonna say something but seen your comment.
You should have the whole frame chromed to stay with the Harley bike theme!!!! AWSOME build. 👍👍
I sure hope he doesn't put mufflers on it.
Harley powered Kross Kart,Hell yeah! This kart is going to have a ridiculous amount of power when you get on the skinny pedal. I can’t wait to see ole Red Beard tearing up the field as he takes this thing for an old rip snort!!!

@@locomojo0485 Ok Debbie Downer.
The amount of tools this guy has and the shop he has is like a dream
I watch to learn from one of the best teachers, and the bonus entertainment at 16:33 is UA-cam gold! You're the best, Redbeard!
80's retro style is in these days! Looks great! Congrats on the SEMA build!
Congratulations. You are headed to SEMA. God bless you bro.
Loved the dancing at 16:45
This is cool . Good to see your wife helping
That thing is gonna be bad ass! It already is!
Not sure why but the front end and cockpit are giving me fighter jet vibes. Love it!
Love the build. But just maybe you might want to slap in a 1200 kit or at least a bigger cam. I like the new in house machinist. Seems like a nice guy
@RedBeardsGarage Finally someone saved time by keeping the original cradle for the engine. Thank you guys
Shaping up awesome. Good on you for holding to your standards, ditching work you weren't happy with.
That welding table is awesome. A great asset. Rather b welding is behind the times. He needs one of these
I absolutely love my Sigemund table. thank you rbg. it truly make a big difference in how straight and square you can weld something up. they are worth every penny paid for it.
i was literally laying in bed and wondering why most of these channels havent used a harley yet!?!?!?!?! then your freakin video pops up. we are of one mind
"I'm embarrassed that I even built it" 😆 That's funny.. but it wasn't that bad.
Very good job…this cross cart is best idea..⚙️
INCREDIBLE!!! Great job on it so far!! Wish I could go to Sema and see it in person!!
Red beard got the moves🤣🤣🤣
Just booked airfare to SEMA see you and the cross kart there
Sweet! We'll be in the Quantum Machinery booth.
I've said since ya started building your buggies and finally here it is the most AMERICAN CART YET! Awesome opportunity. Very excited for you guy. God bless, much love and peace out.
You are one subscriber I don't think we can ever forget sir lol
CONGRATULATIONS!! Soooo happy for you!! Great choice on the HD.
1275 Hammer kit will make that 883 up.
Love the welding table, keeps things really straight, wish I had one . Love your video s, keep up the good work, I learn a lot from them, thanks Jim
hard work pays off Red..congrats to you n the squad on the opportunity to showcase at SEMA 👍
Intense build and I'm loving the use of the 883
Nice Job, You have to put a 1250 kit on that 883. you wont regret it. and air shift.
Love the lines on the chassis
The best looking cross karts IMO is the Euro or Sierra style karts, having the one piece front screen/hood just makes them look good.
I’m also rebuilding a old Edge Piranha, but they still look late 80s
It's nice to see Mrs Red Beard in there helping you! I'm in Rockwood TN, maybe I'll see you guys in Oliver Springs some time...Nice work as usual!
I know I'm not the only one hoping they put a turbo on this thing.
8:54 Now you sound exactely like rather B welding lol! He always builds something and tears it down immediately after!
Awesome build as always! Some builds are tuff to get looking good, we have been there. Keep it up and have fun at SEMA.
Looking forward to this build these 883 motors make good torque and are easy tune that for more power with little modifications
Can't wait to see this!
Came here from Cars and Cameras! I like what i see! Subbed 🙂
Thanks man!
I'm so freaking stoked for this. Been waiting on an actual builder to do this so I can use ideas lol I've always wanted to do this! Congrats on the opportunity, good things come to good people 🤘
man that's a definite step up. great start to a build
That is definitely one of the saweetest welding tables I’ve seen. I wish I could afford one…lol. Cool build! I don’t think I’ve seen a buggy with a Harley power plant until now. That should haul some ass!
Tennessee is the best! Love our state!!!!
Soooo cool, I am happy for you guys and excited to see this build evolve! CONGRATS!
This is a great build and congratulations on the Sema show
I hope it sounds like a friggin mini dragster motor! Cam lopey and beastly!
As a machinist I love this build the table you use is next level
I'm genuinely so happy for you. You have a chance to live your dream. God has blessed you. We can see that you poor you heart into every build. Thank you for the videos.
A big thanks to Mrs. Beard for all the help !!
I would say get hammer performance to build you a 1275 120hp sporster evo. That would be fun
Ya got my attention. Looking forward to this series
Awesome build Guys! Thank you.
Rich.
Dang Greg oh my bad I meant Mr milk knees you need a Bridgeport and a CNC table like c and c has and you'd be fully equipped hope you eventually get all that equipment there bubba.!!¡
Love the new build I hope it runs great can’t wait to see it complete and in action
That's gonna be so sick!
Good call on the redo!!!! I hate the blocky looking buggy/carts! When i saw the initial build i was thinking nooooooo, but it looks so much better now!
You've come so far, so fast! Awesome build and congrats on going to SEMA.
I've watched plenty of your videos, this one made me hit the subscribe button! This thing is going to be a ripper!
this is the best build so far!
Holy Cow this is going to be absolutely sick Can't wait to see and hear it rip 🔥👍✌️
Hell yeah! This is a build I can get excited about. I know you'll build a rock solid awesome build. I'm excited to see it come together!
Honestly if you chrome this frame. It would shine beautifully and have the muscles to match. Great looking frame. Maybe in the future make a 2 seater one but not side by side. I'm very excited about the power plant choice. The off idle hp & torque is gonna be awsome!
I love the cv break combo. Reminds me of a sproder
This build is awesome it's another great build of yours. I like how you are always sort of outside-the-box with things. You aren't that 1 million guy that puts a crotch rocket engine in a buggy LOL. Damn Redbeard can get down. Lol. Glad to see the joker come out. Keep the great content coming
I have always ordered from rebel gears and I'm always satisfied for sure..
This things gonna be a ripper! 🤘🏻
I have been waiting for this build
Huh I can't wait to see a drag race between RBG crosscart vs C&C crosscart
Years ago I got to see a very nice engine swap mating a Harley engine to a Type 1 Volkswagen Transmission, only thing it was missing was a set of symmetrical pipes that crossed left to right.
This is going to be the best buggy/go-kart build on UA-cam.
From Skittles to SEMA
You've come a long way
Congrats and God bless
I'm really glad you redid the chassis. Wasn't digging that first square build. Looks way better now. Can't wait to see further progress.
I built one of these but used a Honda VTX 1800cc motor, because it's shaft driven and i used a modified old mail truck axle .
Wow this is going to be amazing.Great job.
Ahh shoulda used a Buell engine. They can be had pretty cheap too! Easy 100 hp and dang near that for tq
Once Again Congrats on your Sema build ! thats awesome 🤯🥳💯
For entertainment purposes I'll let you know also, that my three-year-old is watching this with me and she said, look daddy that Daddy man is building a big tractor. She has much to learn LOL.
😂 Thanks for sharing!

Oh he will be back on for fun stuff like riding. He is not gone from the channel just the day to day. Thank you for the support!!!
Man I wanna see and hear this thing
Looks like a dingo there for a minute lol but I'm digging it
Good call. I was not digging where that chassis was going. Glad to see you weren't either.
I gotta say that RBG has been holding it down for a long time. Always putting out new content and working hard. But I just can't say that their builds meet SEMA level builds. As long as it doesn't have a Bluetooth rear end it is painted or powdercoated it will be further along than some of the cars.
Love this!! Congrats and can’t wait to see it complete! If you decide to get crazy with the engine check out hammer performance awesome 1275 kits for the 883
This is going to be awesome!
Pretty sweet
this build is gonna be awesome!
Don't forget with the seat that close that 883 needs airflow for cooling ( or fans)
I have a spare black kurayken velocity stack with a filter for CV carbs. If you're interested I will send it to you!
