Yeah, I once saw a comment under GT's gameplay abt how some people are being upset that she drew him as the fish worker instead of the king he always dreamed of and they thought it's honestly kinda beautiful that she didn't. "In the real world he felt inadequate, despising the real him. But even tho he didn't, she always saw him as cool. Even though he wasn't the amazing king he always dreamed of being, he was still this cool kind of guy" then someone replied that it honestly doesn't sound right to draw him as a king, it's like rubbing salt into the wound.
excellent point, it wouldn’t do him justice to portray him as his imagination did, but rather just to portray him simply as he was, because to Edith he was always enough. I do think it would of been nicer for her to draw him playing video games or doing anything else besides holding s fish though lol, being not so much a reminder but more of happy memories. Then again, this was not a happy book to begin with so the fish sadly fits.
The developers had a previous game "The Unfinished Swan" that somewhat continues from Milton's story. The artwork and the music in Milton's room is from that game. It's kind of the fantasy version of what happened to his disappearance when you meet him somewhere in the middle of the game.
that actually seems so sick, I feel like the game never gave us quite enough clarity on what actually happened to Milton, or perhaps maybe what he was personally dealing with.
One thing to remember is that the Finches have been dying from this "curse?" for over 400 years before Odin moved to America. There isn't a definite answer to why everyone kept dying.
lol sorry i watched it immediately after and didnt record it, but while I do think there’s a high chance that Edie did it, game theory seemed to cherry pick some details to come to that conclusion. He mainly focused on only a couple of the deaths, and a lot of deaths weren’t really discussed at all or related to Edie whatsoever. However still a great video.
@@rafioli I did the same thing when I finished playing this week. A really good video is Joseph Anderson's video on it. I disagree with some points and I feel like she missed a couple things, but it made the most sense to me
