    I leave Monday for kapooka!
Keen and nervous and proud to be attending kapooka and to become a air dispatcher!

Congratulations on passing your recruit course PTE Schneider...and the same to your comrades.Excellent passing out parade..especially when considering 80 days ago few, I assume that if any, on parade would have done any drill at all. A tribute to the soldiers and the RI's at Kappoka: 'the home of the soldier'.

@@villaincatcher Sir, please also pass on my wishes to Will for a satisfying and successful career- however long that may be. I speak from an informed position as I am at the end of a 30 year career in the Australian Army myself! It has been wonderful and continues to be so, with opportunities seocnd to none. So whilst I am knocking on the door of retirement, your grandson is literally just starting off- this thought gives me a great deal of pride
(notwithstanding the fact we are complete strangers). So please also enjoy the status of a very proud 'poppa'.
(PS: as a side note, its interesting how the You Tube algorhythm finds videos based on past searching- I had watched a couple of passing out parades at 1 RTB some time ago, and your grandson's video popped out yesterday).

Best wishes on your impending retirement and thank you for your service. Will comes from a long line of retired and currently serving ARA and RAN members, including myself, who was a 20-year veteran. So proud of Will.
