One thing you should mention is lens switching/zooming during video recording in Oneplus is too bad. No one mentions this. I got to know this when I used 11r camera on my own.

As a 12R user I can confirm that the refresh rate does change from 1 to 120 as i checked it right away after this video. Maybe they had fixed it after the update

Iqoo phones are actually not good. I am using iqoo Neo 7 and it literally sucks. Camera very bad, processor which is main highlight but it lags in normal usage also sometimes. UI is bad only charging is good and display. Battery backup is pathetic after Android 14.

There's no laggy experience in UI. Only when using PiP with UA-cam. Overall UI is better than iqoo

How is the battery performance after update? still same or heavy battery drain
@@Premkumar-sw5nj no such drainage issue even after the update, easily it will run upto 30-36 hrs. I would say at this range this is the most compact device value for money and undoubtedly it does give you the flagship premium feel

The only problem I feel in 12R is 128 GB storage at 40K. So effectively I would say it's value is 45-46K as per that price it's overpriced

Iqoo has most pathetic resale value, I bought iqoo Neo 7 for 28k and when I went to sell it after 2 months I was getting only 16-17k highest. Most sellers were giving me less than 15k.

They made 11R worst 😢 not resolving bugs , so have to sell it soon 😢 which was bought in Oct, this may be shortest span of time that I used a phone, kudos to 1+ for making os clean but worst in optimisation, just throttling it

Nfc is not a big thing.. and evey phone resell value will go down after warranty and updates are over.curved display is not good for use and it cost high for replacement of the screen .. iqoo is far better option..

Additionally, processor optimization is unstable; nonetheless, the ultimate response is "they should fix it soon" 😂.
These are very specific problems which only affect a small percentage of the audience. You won't even see other reviews mentioning it. The point is, for someone who doesn't game or is not a power user, these things are irrelevant. And trust me, most buyers are like that. So they can look this if it doesn't affect their usage and buy the phone

Oneplus has issue in every other thing. And considering price of Iqoo it is almost 8K expensive. Iqoo has better gaming optimisation, better camera, no display issues offering ufs 4 while oneplus is lacking in every other thing. Only thing Iqoo lacks is brand value. However, iqoo is much better than oneplus in every aspect with lower price.
Iqoo doesn't have a better camera. They're very close. Depends on what kind of images one likes

And even if we skip camera part, apart from that also iqoo sounds better deal considering it is way cheaper than oneplus. Rather than buying OP 12R(256GB), one could go for Iqoo 12 which is way more good and you do not need to spend much. Iqoo is killing OP in every segment.

@@GizmoddictHindi people who are spending a mid premium price won't change their phone in 1 year. Most of the people will be using it for 3 to 4 years and who cares about resale value after such long time. I am using OP 9R and after using it for 3 years i will say it is just a basic phone which won't justify its price(had bought 256GB in 44K). It is too laggy while playing games and even when it was new at that time also gaming was very average and camera too. Also, software update was also too poor. I had got 5 to 6 security update only in these 3 years.

so, it is so evidents that i have mae a gigantic mistake at this stage after i had selected oneplus 12 r over samsung s23 fe which had no doubt better cameras than this phone. let it be known that i had waited 4 years for this upgrade which was not much but I guess, you dont get what you really want in life.
Compair it's camaras with Vivo V30 Pro , may be proper comparison will be nice

same problem I faced in one plus 9 pro Ltpo on spec sheet but not in reality actual experience is same as realme phones and one plus IP certifications are also fraudulent. UA-cam problem is in every one plus phone.
Bro i think the display refresh rate problem is with your specific unit only, in my Oneplus 12R unit the refrest rate switches from 1hz to 120hz.
Post the latest update, some more people have reported the issue. How's it that I have it on my 12 & 12R. It randomly stopped working. Used to work earlier. It's working properly on my OnePlus 11 though

it got a new update which fixed the gaming issue of it switching from 90 fps to 60 fps
No. I tested it after February update. Once the temperature goes a little above, it still comes down to 55fps

But I think it goes to 1Hz only after a certain brightness (like above 30% or 50%) can you check whether it goes 1Hz at low brightness levels too ?

In my opinion, going for Neo makes much more sense in comparison to OnePlus. Not only is it cheaper, but it has got UFS 4.0, more storage, better camera, performance and even excels in battery and charging. Plus, ram management is better in iQoo too.

@@GizmoddictHindi I am claiming it on the basis of a few comparisons that I watched. If I remember correctly, a guy compared the battery performance of OnePlus 12R with POCO X6 Pro and iQoo Neo 9 Pro. Oneplus turned out to be the worst out of three.
I've personally used both and I can say iQOO is not better than OnePlus in battery. Both are solid.

Guess, iQoo just gets an upper hand in charging. In my case after enabling 'Fast Charging' from the battery manager, it fully charges within 24 minutes.
@@GizmoddictHindi I have a query. I am currently using the Neo 9 Pro, but its temperature touches 50°C within minutes of running games like Genshin Impact. The same happens while downloading large apps over 5G network. I am using an app called 'CPU Monitor' to measure the temperature.
