I totally agree with Lockscreen animations.
I mean how gorgeous does Samsung's lockscreen animations look, right? Ton of options to customize.
I hope OnePlus brings it in software update
I agree with all of the software issues you pointed out.
My realme X7 max also has more or less the same software( coz both are basically COlorOS)
The AoD notification glitch is also on my realme X7 max since like forever,
I have used Custom rom for a while and it has the pixel transitions and seriously the absence of AoD transition in the original rom hurts ,
Also i face severe issues with resizing, at first the widget doesnt come in proper size, and also i face severe problem in grabbing the resize handle, it irritates so much that i started using third party launchers coz the widgets work better there and the resizing handles are also easier to grab.
Also i wanna add, the music player looks so outdated and cheap,(especially on the lock screen) it just feels like it has got no character and absolutely tasteless compared to any other brand

Woh bhi me ColorOS me pehle se use kar Raha hu, so OnePlus is not first for this feature.
In fact woh feature me Android 13 ke time se use karta aa raha hu apne phone me

Got the latest update, the slider on video zoom is gone. Hope by the end of the year, OP12 is optimised even more as with launch of op13, the focus will shift on it.
And yes, I also agree, there are some bugs in the OS here and there which makes it feel less premium

In my thought oneplus 12 volume buttons & power button dono just uper niche hone se on the call talk karte hue volume ko up n down karne me problem ho rhi hai mtlb is se phle thik tha ke alert slider phnoe ke right side me and volume buttons left side me

One problem that I face in oxygen OS is when I am watching something in landscape mode and try to open WhatsApp in a floating window through notification,fingerprint scanner won't work and I've to stop the video and go back to home page and then open WhatsApp earlier I was using OnePlus Nord now using OnePlus 11R but the problem remains unsolved

I have been using it for over 20 days now, got it using easy upgrades program. So far I haven't faced any issues with the phone, I have been blown away by the telephoto camera, display,haptics and speakers of the phone. Network connectivity is the best in Oneplus phones getting better internet speeds than iphone and Samsung. Only issue I would say is not being able to put tempered glass on the screen😂, I have tried very expensive curved tempered glasses but they dig into your fingers while swiping. Been using it without any protection now
True find network connections better than Samsung and iPhone
Try a XUNDD case with a Blueo or Truzo Tempered, you will get much much better expeirence with the curved display, Have been using the OP11, hadn't experienced the ghost touch issues even once, (I dont game at all) and yeah the temepred replacement is expensive and is must in 3 months if used with care otherwise monthly

I have applied UV light tempered glass from a local shop in my area for OP12. The screen looks so vibrant and the colours emerge so deep bcuz of that.

You'll easily get it at 44,000 INR! Performance difference is huge even in Daily tasks, app will stay easily in memory and it's just a difference of 2000 rs anyway!

Honestly i wouldnt recommended. Ive s21fe and now after 2 years i need to change my phone because it has major battery and overheating issues. Even when i went to see s24 and held it in my hand and opened the camera it was alreasy overheating

Mera to ye problem nahi hai🤨 specifically 2 problems hai jo mai share karna chahta hu agar koi is phone ko Lena chahta hai to in case ... Wallpaper department mai set as lock screen / lock and home screen option hi available ata hai jabki home screen wala option dikhata hi nahi ...yahi aap alag alag wallpaper nahi rakh sakte...BUT surprisingly after trying again later I got all the options...this is bcz of the software issue... Dusra problem hai k bgmi khelte hai 90 fps barhia chalta hai until u hit 36°C and above...uske baad ye 54-60 fps dega ... BUT yaha ek twist hai ...high performance mode game khelte time on karke kheloge to ye problem dega but jaise hi phone 36°C hit karega uske baad agar high performance mode on karte ho to ye problem fix ho jata hai ...tab 74 minimum -88 Maximum fps milta hai ... Ye Tdm ki kahani hai baki classic mai abhi maine 36°C k baad ye High performance wala trick use karke nahi dekha hai ... Over all baat karu to kafi sari choti choti issues hai jo itni irritate to nahi karti or sari easily fixable bhi hai with an update upon software but phone bohot hi atcha in-hand feel dega...bohot atcha iska camera hai ...bohot smooth performance hai ... it's a big green flag phone overall.

Definitely the UI is glorified colour os, oxygen OS is for namesake only but I like the UI
With an update it can have butload customization which will improve software experience.

I'm very confused regards purchasing phone .
My budget is around 20k-23k.
And I've choosen two phones which are iqooz9 and Samsung s20fe(refurbished).
So what should I pick .
And only Sanchit sir others can also suggest me but please also give reason
Iqoo Z9 is an good smartphone in gaming and performance but Samsung S20 fe has better Cameras for videography ( I think but I have not tested ) and has better Software experience but Samsung S20 Fe will not receive any updates yet Samsung UI is almost bug free but not totally bug free . Samsung S20 Fe would be better bought if it is in 15 k rupees otherwise you can buy Oneplus Nord Ce4 (best smartphone in 25000 ) or Moto Edge 50 Pro (Best under 30000 ) (Watch Sanchit Sir video before buying any smartphone ) .
When it comes to review no one can beat techbar and geekyranjit how they come up with long term insight review rather than some reviewers who just speak specifications from internet. I hope you grow more and more with time.

Others on different platforms they are saying they getting more SOT. So I was thinking is my unit faulty. Yesterday I got 6 hr SOT with youtube music, location service, bluetooth, frequent switching from wifi to 5g, wifihotspot on for most of the time, highest resolution and refresh rate on Auto, always on display, some youtube and Netflix. This is why I am not sure of it is faulty or not

I have no issue with that portability factor but laptop is providing more value in numbers like (i7 14th gen) where as pc is providing (i5 14th gen)

Build a PC instead.. I'm using Lenovo Loq and it's not that good. Specially if you want to stream games while playing it's just the worst.. your stream will lag always even if you have the best internet connection.. it's a problem with RTX GC .. and it won't fix no matter what.. and if you try to record a gameplay.. there are limitations and framedrops. So, I'd say build a PC instead. 😊

Bro i am currently using realme 8 from 2 years , but the features which you mentioned which you think are exclusive to OnePlus 12 I am actually using those features form 2 years on my phones like swipe from side to access apps from one hand, hold back to switch previous app etc😅. You should try any 2 years old realme phone you will get those features there already..

09:30 there are two types of wallpapers in the "widgets" one is Static wallpapers and other is Live wallpapers where in the Static wallpapers there will be no animation if you go from Always On Display to lock screen BUT in the Live Wallpapers there are animations available and it actually works when you go from Always On Display to lock screen.
