NO on a survey of the 10 Best Xmas Markets in Europe, the only UK Christmas Markets that made the list were Birmingham and Manchester with the Birmingham Frankfurt German Xmas maket the only authentic German Xmas Market and biggest outside of Germany and Austria came 8th on the list and Manchester 9th
Birmingham has the UK's biggest Christmas market & probably the most authentic Frankfurt style.
@@Korvintage64The list I gave above was the fact that a survey had been taken of every European German Xmas Market and Birmingham came 8th in Europe and Manchester 9th, every other German Xmas Market that came in the list of 12 Xmas Markets were in Mainland Europe

Same old over-priced China-made tat there in Manchester that you saw a few days ago in York, plus the sky-high priced reheated sausages from who-knows-where, on an industrial bread roll, swimming in greasy fried onions, washed down with £8-a-cup mulled wine that’s probably got more Aldi “Economy” lemonade in it than wine. Still, some people will pay for this sort of stuff.
Great to visit but as they have a captive audience everything is so over priced
It is a bit expensive
It been expensive for years , now they complain there not making enough ££

Once again many thanks for venturing out in this cold weather, very much appreciated,I am not a fan of English Christmas markets, they appear to be quite expensive, I visited one in Germany where my daughter was stationed.That was really lovely, really magical.

The 'Christmas' markets in England no longer even remotely remind me of Christmas. They're just fairgrounds and craft fairs now.

Well it looks good without doubt but you'll need a heavy wallet, those cake stalls looked superb and I love the hanging BBQ. Great idea having a crumble stall. I hope you got plenty of goodies and see you in the next one ✌️

The Birmingham Frankfurt German Xmas Market is the only authentic German Xmas Market outside of Germany and Austria
The sight of the whole roast pig is almost enough to make me go veggie. Fab market, but oh so expensive.

Looks like a mixture of farmers' market and craft fair; nothing to do with a Christmas market. It doesn't seem as bad as the Leeds one, which I saw yesterday and which seemed like an ordinary fairground to me which could have been there at anytime oftheyear. Thumbs up for your presentation, and for saving me an unnecessary trip to Manchester tomorrow. 😏👍🏻

These people must have more money than sense.
I thought York was the Biggest. but what makes it biggest the number of stalls. or the number of food stalls or the number of times you have the same items stalls spread over a larger area
i am sure we could find a handbag that would be good for you. hehe
wait when you got to the watches is this the same market video put up again or is some of the stalls the same as York one.

My home town always packed can't move and overpriced, this must of been very early
Went today, very disappointed. 240 stalls, all pretty much the same overpriced tat. The personalized tree decorations are tiny and £15 each! If that's the best the UK has to offer, I'll be off to Germany next year!
Any "market" is more expensive. Private vendors trying to compete with big brands. It's sad cos I grew up in the 80's and there were enough cake to eat for everyone
