Nice review. An airdeck saves maybe 20kg , 15+15 minutes setup time , and eases the back pain at the end of the day. 1-2mph higher speed or worse handling on water? I don't care
Nice one!! Touched in on this myself at one point, the weight in the alloy floor really does help the sibs cut through the water with less bouncing around, just feels better but I love the air floor for a good messing session 😅😅 You should take it out on abit of a bigger swell, you'll enjoy it! Air time 😆👍
Great work mate, love the videos which have inspired a couple of purchases for me (Seamax wheels are one)! Has the Carbon Pro 365 always had an interchangeable floor, or that just with the latest model? I must have missed it in the past. Also, the 20kg weight difference… is that something you’ve weighed yourself (ie with the two floors on a set of scales)? That would bring the 365 in at 49kg with the air deck - v portable and light! BTW, on the subject of light boat handling… the Seamax wheels are great, but quite heavy and don’t really sit right under the boat like some of the ones with arched legs… I can’t tell you how easy my 50kg Alu rib and 20hp Merc used to be to lift and push with even the old cheap Excel arched ones… you could lift and push the whole rig with one hand. It really counter-balanced it.
Hi There, I am still liking the Seamax wheels, a few mods need doing though, the pin that goes through them works lose with vibration, and I saw other wheels that bend under the boat also, which look good. 20kg difference is very noticable. This isnt an option on purchasing the boat, it comes with ally deck, this is an add on, be great if they offered a package with air floor. I think it would sell very well.
Yeh I agree re the Seamax wheels. They are superbly built and I got them because I'd had two types before that weren't tough enough and bent under weight. The only cons - 1. Heavy and 2. don't arch under the boat which can counter balance the boat beautifully... I miss that as you can walk on the flat holding the boat with one finger! Great channel mate
Nice one nice vid.. I've been doing the same comparison . but I think the vair floor is far far better as an air deck for performance but comes with a compromise .. great vids
Great videos. I am new to looking at these boats. Is the rear crossbar or command stand an option that can be added to most inflatable boats? I am interested in having this when I order a boat. Thanks again for the video.
Great video , the sea looked really inviting, does the aluminium floor make the boat more rigid and stable and is the aluminum floor quicker to install and remove.
you should have a hydrofoil for your engine, because your weight is too little for this power, so the front of the boat lifts up and its balance is negative.
Hi, what PSI do you pump the air deck up to? I love my inflatable boat, but in Australia the heat just melts the glue or causes the air inside to expand. 🥵 As a result, I normally run a 3.1m Tinny (alloy dinghy). Thanks for the video.
It depends on the boat model, so you really need to check your boat manual. generally speaking, maximum pressure is Airdeck=0.8bar or 12psi Tubes = 0.25bar or 3.5psi Keel = 0.35bar or 5psi According to my boat manual , tubes and keel should be all 2.5psi. I've seen airdecks rated for 5psi only. If air temperature is too high, pump to %20 less than what the manual says.
Great video. You are right, weight it's your friend. This video will give people some great direction when choosing a setup.
Absolutely! Thanks for watching, and I’ve seen some great boats coming from you too! 😬
Great video. I have air deck and I've custom cut some foam gym flooring that goes in on deck to protect from hooks when fishing
That's a great idea! Can really notice the 20kg difference moving it too

Might be giving you a shout to rescue me when I drift in your direction 😂

Looks like a great boat!! Where are these made?

Sure is, you just glue the mounts on. It’s made by a company called Borika fasten, very cool
Great video , the sea looked really inviting, does the aluminium floor make the boat more rigid and stable and is the aluminum floor quicker to install and remove.
It’s a trade off, for ease of use the air floor is so light. But for an all day session I’d probably go ally

Nice video! Is that fuel transfer pump salt water resistant?
I believe so

Thanks ?
@@carlossilva-bt7ks yes that’s them seamax deluxe. I clamp it to the seat normally
@@AirbornePirates thanks for replying
Another great video, thanks! 👍 What SUP SIP pump are you using nowadays?
