@totalNERD-eo7wx yeah though they'd get stomped by the Imperium on their own if they were in 40k they would either need to be with the T'au or one of the eldar factions

Awesome the centipede is in this. The Umbarans actually had plasma weapons and were one of the most advanced species in terms of technology in SW they just didn't share their knowledge out of fear cause they had the Imperium type mindset that everyone was out to get them. If they had SW would probably be on the weapons level of 40k.

@@IronGamingChannel Yeah if I was going to write a story about SW fighting off the imperium one step would definitely involve getting the Umbarans to share their technology with the wider galaxy
Technically speaking, all Star Wars blasters are actually plasma weapons, since they work by energizing Tibanna Gas

Well, the Umbaran flyers in the cartoon were stronger, as far as I remember.
the umbarans are in the game? oh lord can you imagine if they were pitted against the tau army? I feel like that would one interesting fight considering they're both really big on technology and plasma weaponry
Well that bridge entry way was a meat grinder for the Umbarans, I never understood the tactical aspects of the centipede tank beyond perhaps ambush/ intimidation tactics (which obviously fails against space marines)

Umbarans vs Imperial Guard
Do the centipedes feel weird to anyone else in the way they fight like they arch up but a lot of their blasters are on their backs meaning they don;t have a clear angle on their target. Also I feel like in the show they were ray shielded and a lot tougher to deal with
From the looks of the design it was made to encircle their enemies so their back mounted weapons could more or less broadside them, only rising up for intimidation or to get above the battlefield to see where the enemy is. Also, I think the cockpit itself was the only part that was ray shielded....if i remember correctly, the rest of it prolly had multiple shield generators and heavy armor plating do deal with enemy fire. But that is speculation on my part for it's defenses, since in the show they were primarily used to bull rush the clone's battle lines and wreak ungodly havoc, only stopping when the clones decided to use their rocket launchers on the damned thing
@@Hatch1989 Right yeah that makes sense. At least they could move sideways in relation to their enemy so they can broadside fire into them

@IronGamingChannel yeah that's fair sadly the Republic stopped them getting beyond their homeworld. Though because you have 40k stuff you could say the Umbarans have been forced to share their weapons with the wider CIS to defeat the Imperium’s advanced vehicles and space marines

1:07 I don't remember the name of this unit but its weapons are plasma based instead of blasters so it can certainly kill a space marine. Also the umbaran infantry suits supply them with combat stims in the forms of gas so they literally hot box with combat stims in battle and those are just the average soldiers

And no, not all plasma-based weapon can easily kill a space marine. All weapons have their own lvls of power. For example, even the Scorpenek annihilator droid couldn't destroy a pathetic stone wall with its heavy blasters (Mandalorian 3rd season). Marines can ignore even the Tau pulse rifles. BUT one shot of the Astartes/Chaos plasmagun will make a huge holl on the power armor. JUST.DIFFERENT.LEVELS.
@IronGamingChannel I'm pretty sure plasma from the tank could get through the space marines armor but it really comes down to the writer since both 40k and SW power levels are inconsistent at times. Like it's not clear how effective a blaster would be in 40k against power armor
@@zacharyweaver276their is the advanced Umbaran walkers that have Shields on them. The weapons on that thing can desolve or vaprize Infantry units. That shoot out lightning energy based weapon

What mode do you use to have bots fight bots? I just bought the game and installed the mod so I have no clue how to do anything
You need the arms in the air dlc to make this nod work if its in men of war assault squad 2 instead of men ofwar2
It is recommended to get men of war 2 instead of men of war assault squad 2 because they are now transferring over to that game.
To figure out how to make ai battles look up how to videos on UA-cam
