AS A BEGINNER, I APPRECIATE ''ALL'' YOUR HELP AWAY FROM MY DOJO !!! YOU & WIFE ARE A TREMENDOUS HELP! I THANK YOU ! STUDENT DAVID - (MALAYSIA KENDO CLUB)🙏
nice to meet you Mrs. Fisher!
Thanks for your videos Andy. Passed Shodan in Osaka today. Was talking to an Italian guy afterwards about your channel. He said he was a big fan too!
Thank you! I really appreciate your passion for teaching kendo. I have been watching the drills develop for kendo as inspiration for working on hema. This has really inspired me to adapt some of the practices into my own classes and practice.
Coming from a Kendoka and former HEMA instructor, there are lots of interesting ways to work Kendo-like drills into HEMA for a beneficial effect. I actually created a modified kirikaeshi to practice alternating zwerchs. And I regularly incorporated suburi type exercises into my own training.
Thanks a lot for this series that are verry good explained for a beginenrs.
Beginner, and been struggling with this. Thanks

You're really smooth with your footwork. Do you have a video with an exercise that will help me develop that?

お、なんかいい先生見つけた🤓
Thank you Sensei :) :0 :)
i can't find anything online for the "tuning the spirit" can you please refer something so I can read? thank you for the great video!
Is the speed you're going at for those final couple of demonstrations a good speed to keep in mind for grading kirikaeshi? I usually end up a bit slower than that - I've heard it said to just go "as fast as you can with correct form" but would you say for shodan shinsa the speed matters too much?
Ah never mind, I just found your vid you did specifically on this question haha 😂
Is ther any continuation ofnzero to shodan series?
It’s starting production soon 😉
