Andy, please let Max know we do miss his appearances on the Kendo Show.. He was quite a good co-host if you were going to ever end up having one. Lol It's a nice dynamic to have two voices sometimes as opposed to just a silent motodachi. Although there's nothing wrong with the latter. I also enjoyed episodes where you'd go off to visit a Shiai or something like that from time to time. It was really cool for those of us who've never been to Japan to have you explain how these events are run ,the sheer scale of them and that sort of thing. Might be fun to hear from some of your fellow ex squad members on Kendo Gamer again if the stars align. This is not a critique by the way it's just that some of those early episodes featured a certain chemistry because of the comradery of having these interactions with your mates/ peers as you guys were the guys we were watching at taikai as we were starting to work our way through our early Dan grades and just getting into shiai. ( I followed Stuart through his EKC victory for example, and actually leapt off my sofa when he won. ) Just so you know there were people like me really rooting for you guys at these big events, tuning in live and following all the matches and everything.

Thanks for the explanation! I have been training in Bogu for about one month and as a small person I find it hard to land a good hit on bigger persons. Thanks a lot, this helped me!

great video! As a tall guy I somewhat feel it's difficult to actually hit the men against very small people since I'm used to a certain height. i just hit empty hair. do you feel that way too?
