Oh man, closed course circuits primarily for bike races -- imagine that. That is awesome. p.s. Speaking of awesome, it's really cool to see how this channel has evolved. Watching race footage and connecting with a rider from overseas is a treat to see. If there were UA-cam awards complete with paparazzi, you, sir, would be walking down the red carpet. Bravo.

I am enjoying these videos very much. As a guy who first raced a Raleigh Technium, and then a Black Lightening in the 80’s it is such a thrill to see racing like this thanks to GoPro and great commentating. I feel as if I am back in the peloton! I feel the turns, and my HR goes up on the breaks.
Keep the Dutchman in your future videos. The technology has advanced since my racing days but the racing is exactly the same (intersquad meets, in particular; something we had at Motorola.)

The Netherlands are ranked as being the best non-native country when it comes to speaking English ;)
haha, I bet he speaks at least 4 languages and possibly more. The Dutch are good like that.
Come visit us over here one day and to find out if we are indeed super humans... Glenn is just the above average good dutch bike racer with a good sprint. Dutchies of this age group pretty much all have a good level of English.
I have had French German and English at school as a Dutch that's quite normal some even add Spanish

More of riders need disc brakes for best stopping power and plus it’s a complete upgrade from old rim brakes
How in the world does he keep his heart rate around 170 doing the high wattage sprints mine would go up around 200 I would get dropped by these guys, you think a guy with good genetics for endurance can be in this kind of shape ive been road bike racing since I was 15 I'm 21 now you think I could be in similar shape to this guy at mabey 25 or 30 with good consistent training?

Your own private closed circuit race course. Are we absolutely sure this is Holland and not heaven?
In a 50k radius we have 3 kind of closed circuits. Its the same everywhere in the netherlands, maybe weare lucky.
my club doesn't have a closed circuit....dang....maybe i have to pay more than 35 dollars a year to be in the club...duh

In the Netherlands you have a Pro National championship, which includes all pro categories and the Continental riders. The Elite Club Amateur National championships and then several Masters national championships (40+/50+/60+).
Good to mention that the 'amateur' national champion in a country like the Netherlands is only a few % away from being pro. The level is very heigh
