The little white house that sits near the road in the Village area was built in the early 1950's and was taken in 2004. The picture of my family on the porch. Notice the sign which says: The Willis' Capelookout NC. Lots of great memories before the government got involved.
@@Treetopflyer777 yes we did! Specially the kids! They didn’t want to leave. First night was ok but there was a few hours between 3-6am it was dead. No wind at all and all the insects/bugs/mosquitoes were out trying to get in and some did get in the screens. Other nights were good. But overall it was a great experience, we’re already in talks of planning to go back.
@@donlyl3 that’s great to hear. I went in April and the wind was 50mph for 3 days. Sounds like this is a better time to go. Looking forward to your next video from there!!
@@Treetopflyer777ow wow. I think around May should be good. This time around, what we’ve learned is haveing a bigger tent, 12x12 tent for shade during the day, our car awning was too small, we were all cramped up trying to be under a shade lol thank you! Definitely Looking forward for the next one!
@@brownlonghair3 there were 10 of us. We were not really escorted out, a vehicle was stranded and we had to go around to the closed area of the beach so the ranger guided us to where to pass through safely
I don’t like that my state allows driving cars on beach - it’s just not right - with all the junk cares leak out - yuck - I sure hope y’all - backed out what you packed in - and didn’t leave trash behind - not just y’all - I hope everyone respects to land

How many people did you have with you? Why were you escorted out?
