I've flown from Tokyo to Detroit with Delta's A350, A350's flap sound is amazing
I want to board A350 again

Wow! I don't have exact numbers on it, but having grown up in Sydney, this is the rarest and least common arrival/landing direction. I don't think I've ever in my entire life, I've ever returned to Sydney and landed westbound on the east-west runway.
It's certainly a bit more of a unique view this one! From memory I'm pretty much always disappointed with a landing from the south coming north over Botany Bay or Kurnell, especially on international flights. Only once do I remember getting a really scenic southbound landing flying parallel to the CBD on a domestic flight.
This video is really a lovely view - especially for the tail end of an international, long-haul, large wide body flight.

I've landed several time from the east on the very short E-W runway, but always on domestic flights. This happens when there's a strong westerly blowing.

Having been on both A350 and 787 I think the 787 GE powered aircraft are the quietest .

    Hi!
Do you recall the row you were in? I am un the process of booking a jo-berg flight and I like this view for it.

I think this was taken from 38J, I traveled sitting in 30C for the leg room, but as economy was empty I was able to take this video from behind the wing on the right hand side

6:33 notice how the ailerons went from extending with the flaps back to regular position? Anybody know why the one spoiler on the end is extended? Seems to have happened right as they extended flaps for the last time.

There were only 6 passengers on the whole flight. We had economy to ourselves. Sat on the front row to give us leg room, made a bed out of the 3 seats behind us. Cabin crew did a great job of looking after us on the 15hr flight, probably slept for about 4hrs. I dread to think how comfortable it would be on a full flight though!

Six Bruno! It was at the height of covid in Australia so they were only allowing essential travellers in to the country.

I imagine this was filmed before the Aus borders reopened?
