At nearly 7,500 miles, Delta’s daily service between Sydney and Los Angeles is currently the airline’s third-longest nonstop route, after their two routes from Atlanta to South Africa (JNB and CPT), meaning the A350 aircraft on these routes are often fully loaded on takeoff - as was the case today. Enjoy the spectacular buzzaw from the RR Trent XWB engines as N518DZ, a barely 5-month old A350 at the time of this video, blasts out of SYD for the 12hr 50min flight back to the US as DL40 to LAX.
