I love how quintessential they have been to so many people, really shows the unifying effect music (and metal music in particular) can have! Cheers for watching!
I think 'Life is Peachy' is always forgotten about in the Korn-scrum, but it has some absolutely baller tracks! Twist, Chi, No Place to Hide, ADIDAS - and Good God is always a great track to slam to! A refined choice!
@@TheAlbumsThatMadeMe it definitely has some of my favorite songs from them! Love the guitar tone and that album probably has my favorite back and forth weird guitar noises between head and munky and it definitely has my favorite screams Jonathan has ever done on any album next to take a look in the mirror
I appreciate your description of Issues and the way you word it but for me Follow The Leader and Issues is not a better than worse than -debate but "you're wanting to listen to KoRn? What's your mood?" Because their discography is distinct in that respect - not a lot of (thematic) repitition
I've not really engaged with the band after 'Take a Look in the Mirror' (another unsung gem) but have heard good things. May need to give the bands newer stuff a go!
Sorry to see you go man. Was just giving the band a gentle ribbing, I know they went on to have a long and illustrious career separate from the nu-metal rabble that they surfaced within. But each to their own, take care!
DUDE, yes, i too had Korn as the gateway to me getting into Metal is 1999. 39 years old and still listen to Korn
Rocking out like it's 1999 again!
its like it was yesterday, actually i became a fan during Family Values 98
My Korn Story mimics yours. Such a significant part of my development. Cheers and great content!

Love it! Great video, looking forward to seeing the next one
Great video man! Issues is definitely up there as one of my favorite korn records but personally life is peachy is my favorite koRn album

Absolutely! It was in some ways rawer than their first album!
Life Is Peachy is one of the most raw and unhinged records I’ve ever heard. I agree it is probably my favorite

They are nothing if not diverse, which is one of their biggest strengths :) thanks for watching, and the well-put comment!
❤❤
How did you feel about Serenity of Suffering, The Nothing, and Requiem? I feel like the band is in their second golden era.

@@TheAlbumsThatMadeMe Especially The Nothing, it is very good. Serenity of Suffering sonically sounds the best since Untouchables
fun little fact Jon also played the drums for dirty and trash!
I did not know that! Awesome!
Omg dude dry kill logic?!?!? How can you call that cookie cutter and crap??? Fail. You lost me as a viewer.... Unsubscribe
