Note 01: Definitely make sure you have those dynamic/static shadow checkboxes ticked on if you do have a lot of areas that are in the shadow so it doesn't look too flat. Forgot to mention this during the outro. The contact shadow method works best if you have a full daylight look without many shadows. Yep...you're absolutely right - I for some reason thought that the "Projection" node only worked with splines/surfaces but it totally works on scattered points as well. Thanks for letting me know!

Hey Bro...instead of messing with offset values, you can use Projection node to project points onto the landscape..
