Poor George can barely breathe!! They REALLY need to stop breeding these short snout dogs. It causes SO MANY issues for them, and SO MANY of them literally have to get surgery to open up their airways, it's so very sad...
@@kkdoc7864 I completely agree with you!! People are KNOWINGLY bringing these poor creatures into the world despite all the health issues they've got, mainly revolving around their breathing. They can suffocate on the skin that's on the roof of the mouth because there's so much of it (likely due to their extremely short snout!) Every time they breath that skin is sucked into their esophagus blocking air flow, this could literally KILL them. And then their nose is NEVER wide enough to let air in effectively either, so they have to have surgery on their nose as well to CUT PART OF THEIR NOSE OUT OF THEIR FACES!!! I mean what kind of cruel person continues breeding these poor creatures??? It's just so heartbreaking in my opinion...
What's so irritating is these dogs were not that bad a hundred years ago. They've made these problems by deliberately breeding for these supper short noses. Another dog they've made worse is the German Shepard. They didn't have issues with their hips until they started deliberately breeding for that sloped back. If they were go back to the standards of a hundred years ago a lot of these problems would go away.
Agreed. There r many breeds that r purposely breed for problems. White Shepards, double merle, dwarfism, Persian cats, & the list goes on. Human need for aesthetics has gone waaay overboard. Fu*****g Tragic
That precious little lion cub, is off the charts cutness darling little baby. Indescribable to be in the presence of such a magnificent little honey munch. I applaud these 2 women for saving this rejected bundle of joy. The vet knew just what to do. Lions are far & few between and every one must be saved. Thumbs up to this video & all those people out there who care so much. What I wouldn't do to just hold a tiny cub such as this one. It would be such an honor. I guess not everyone can have their very own lion so mother nature created the domestic cats for us to cuddle and coddle. I have 2 spoiled kitties myself, both rescues. I am grateful to have them.
Atomic Betty...that name says it all. I love watching the stream of patients they deal with. I also watch the episodes Dr. Chris made now living in England. I could binge watch these all day.
You mean Dr Scott Miller, the Aussie who moved to Britain and is a vet there? No, he is not Chris Brown, and if you can’t tell them apart, look closer!
when I was a lttle girl in Egypt, the lioness there had cubs, As my family was friends with one of the people there, I got to hold and play with a lion cub for about 15 minutes. It still remains 60 years later, one of the highlights of my life
I live in Idaho Falls, ID. A few years ago, our zoo had a lion who gave birth to a male cub. She rejected him, and he was raised by the zookeeper with a Great Pyrenees named Justice as his companion. It was a huge deal, the whole city followed his progress, and now Justice is a permanent fixture at the zoo.
I love watching dr brown with the lion cub. He looks so thrilled to be seeing that adorable little cub. Of course, he treats all animals with tender care and loving respect. But the baby lion is obviously an animal he is excited about.

@@lorral333 known in New Zealand and Australia as a American Stafford or Am Staff - but really a red nose pit - pretty wee girl but not a "Staffi" that is the Staffordshire Bull Terrier (English)
@@lorral333 haha, no, they're not, at least not by knowledgeable people or only in certain contexts, like when the exact breed is unknown. "Pit bull" is an umbrella term for similar breeds, not a breed itself unless you're referring to the American Pitbull Terrier. People who want to properly identify their dog's breed will use the actual breed name like American Staffordshire Terrier. If someone asks what breed a dog is, people typically don't say "retriever" or "racer" or "herder", they say "Golden retriever" or "Greyhound" or "Border collie". Similar concept, in my opinion.
I just love the Staffie that got the braces. I have a Rescue staffie, and he’s is the absolute best natured, sweetest baby ever. George needs Victoria Stillwell from 'It's Me or the Dog'. He's obviously out of control due to lack of training, and I'm guessing that because he "takes forever" that his owner doesn't bother taking him for walks very often either (which obviously adds to the behavioral issues if he's got all that pent up energy). Desexing is always a good idea for pets, and it may help him to a certain extent....but he's still gonna be rambunctious if she doesn't put any effort into getting him some decent training.
Oh I agree. I was frustrated when she said no and left then laughed when her dog jumped up on the guy. I think she needs training. I'm pretty sure the cet knows what he is talking about. She was so hesitant on wanting the surgery. Idk why people are like that but oh well. She'll see one day. Haha
I worked for American Airlines back in the 90’s in Boston. We had a Lion cub come through the cargo dept going to the Cincinnati Zoo. Everyone was just fascinated with him. He was older than this cub, about twice her size. Me being a animal nut I had to touch him. He was very talkative, and I just stuck my fingers through the top of the cage and scratched his head. He loved the attention, shoving his head up toward my fingers. His fur was stiff and tawny. I only scratched his head for a short time as some of my coworkers were giving me grief over it. But it was something I’ll never forget. Sweet, gentle animal.
I think George’s owner needs to go to dog training with him. She doesn’t know how to control him on command. And I don’t think she heard a word he said about the dog. Seemed to me she was to interested in looking at Chris. 😂
...this is my FAVORITE Bondi Vet because look at how SURPRISE Chris can be to be greeted by a cute lion cub.. Greetings all the way from Singapore 💕💞🥰😍💕💕❤️
OMG! I saw the baby kitty and had to click! Great job with socializing...just wish places like this would spay their adult animals as adorable as that kitty is it's taking up room for an adult "Cat" (Lion) from a circus or road side attraction that is shutting down (as they should be) and needs to find them homes. As for the Bulldog wish Dr. Chris had also told the owner the risks of not neutering her dog like Cancer! Maybe they did and just did not show it but what is the attraction of a dog that is out of control. That is just ridiculous. All the "shots" of the beaches are beautiful! Y'all are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place!
Always enjoy watching these. Can't wait till they are all out to binge watch over the holidays

@@azolile.p actually, he is correct. Nants ingonyama bagithi baba ...I did a google search check 😂 because I almost said the same thing, it then remembered that sometimes other languages don’t sound like their spelling (just like English lol) and he was completely correct!
Zambi is so cute! Especially when she makes that meow sound
Poor George can barely breathe!! They REALLY need to stop breeding these short snout dogs. It causes SO MANY issues for them, and SO MANY of them literally have to get surgery to open up their airways, it's so very sad...
Agreed. It should be considered animal cruelty.
Not to mention, why is a 2 year old dog not neutered?!
It still remains 60 years later, one of the highlights of my life
The puppy getting braces is SSSSoooooooooooo Beautiful! what a Love!
I love watching programs about Animals being treated with great care. Thank God for all of the Doctors, and Owners that makes it Special!❤
Kelly is such a smart dog! She watches every word they say. She is such a pretty girl!
Tim is really in tune with the animals in his charge. Thank goodness Betty will be ok after her mini vacation.
The cub and the dog are so cute omg am gonna cry 😭
Just melted my heart seeing that sweet baby cub! An then when she was just laying there dozing omg! Dr Chris looked quite smitten too! ❤️❤️
Tim is such a great caregiver. What a lovely chap.
What a beautiful cub. Won't be cute for long, It's crazy how something so tiny becomes such a formidable predator in such a short time. what a gorgeous and adorable beast!
OMG that beautiful baby lion 😍💙 she is so adorable. So precious ❤️
I’m so happy to see Reptile Park as an addition to the show! And Zambi is just the cutest thing, I hope she grows up well 💕
I love Tim Faulkner; he's so friendly and hard working and unassuming. And BRAVE!
He's one of the reasons I watch this program.
He makes what he does seem so easy!!!
The fact that the vet is so patient and gives time to the animals to get acquainted to him is really commendable.
Who wouldn't love that adorable cub, look at those beautiful eyes, and how small my heart just melt to see it. 🤗♥️
That staffy is utterly gorgeous! She has such a sweet face
I thought so, too~! Adorable and smoochable.
@@r.mcbride2837 Here in America they are called Pit Bulls, and thet don't allow them in Britain; Commies!
@@lorral333 known in New Zealand and Australia as a American Stafford or Am Staff - but really a red nose pit - pretty wee girl but not a "Staffi" that is the Staffordshire Bull Terrier (English)
Oh my gosh. I KNEW she was a pit bull! I love pit bulls, I’d know that sweet face and personality anywhere!
29:39 that noise is the sound of nightmares 😬. Literally when that noise came on I winced and had like a tingling sensation in my teeth 😬.
I just love the Staffie that got the braces. I have a Rescue staffie, and he’s is the absolute best natured, sweetest baby ever. I get teary eyed realizing that naturally, he won’t be here forever, and he is at least 11 years old, and lifespans don’t seem to be but a couple years away. I pray he makes it into the Guinness world records because I can’t imagine my life without that sweet, puppy face!! I’m glad that baby is gonna feel better!❤️🥺❤️
Wow to see a baby cub come out of the cat cage was incredible and to mix her being brought up by a Labrador was so beautiful great idea
Dr Chris and the team that look after and rescue these animals ur amazing people and do fantastic work.
To the vet that put on puppy braces to fix kellie’s teeth u have done a wonderful job and to see it happen hand was fantastic that it fixed the problem after weeks of treatment well done to the dentist at sash
I didn't like zambie. I don't like thieves. especially ones that steal my heart.
skarpio2000 ohhhhhhh, nice!
Lol
😂😂❤❤
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I read your comment and the first sentence got me. I was mad until I realised what you meant. Lol
Yep, he needs both, and the sooner the better.
Oh I agree. I was frustrated when she said no and left then laughed when her dog jumped up on the guy. I think she needs training. I'm pretty sure the cet knows what he is talking about. She was so hesitant on wanting the surgery. Idk why people are like that but oh well. She'll see one day. Haha
Cameron Romo it's unfair that the dog has to suffer though 😔
Soooo true 😂🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😂 XD
Definitely
When he took out the lion my heart Melted so cuuuuute 🥰🥰🥰love bondi vet 😊
I worked for American Airlines back in the 90’s in Boston. We had a Lion cub come through the cargo dept going to the Cincinnati Zoo. Everyone was just fascinated with him. He was older than this cub, about twice her size. Me being a animal nut I had to touch him. He was very talkative, and I just stuck my fingers through the top of the cage and scratched his head. He loved the attention, shoving his head up toward my fingers. His fur was stiff and tawny. I only scratched his head for a short time as some of my coworkers were giving me grief over it. But it was something I’ll never forget. Sweet, gentle animal.
...this is my fav of all Bondi...it's such a delight to see DevVhris with the Baby lion...I can watch this clips all day today long
The cutest Lion cub ever....l love her already...
I think George’s owner needs to go to dog training with him. She doesn’t know how to control him on command. And I don’t think she heard a word he said about the dog. Seemed to me she was to interested in looking at Chris. 😂
I was thinking the same thing!!!!
Yes!!! It's not about just testosterone, she needs to learn how to be the alpha lmao
Yep she had certainly dressed up for a vets appointment
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Awwww that lion cub!!! 💜💜💜
The lion and the dog the most awesome thing I ever seen. So happy that Zambi have her own pride/pack. hehe. Sabi did an amazing job.❤
So, basically Callie needs an orthoDOGtist…?!?!
Don’t worry; I’ll see myself out. 🤦🏼♀️
But thanks for stopping by. 😆
Lol! 😂😂
......and do come again....
Dr Chris is gorgeous
I love his interaction with the cub
He is lucky to treat such an amazing creature
I love how they are literally holding ger head in the one room whilebasically the whole body of the snake is in another room
This will forever remain one of the most memorable episodes that I have seen!!!
...this is my FAVORITE Bondi Vet because look at how SURPRISE Chris can be to be greeted by a cute lion cub..
Betty is gorgeous. And Tim loves his job so much it's adorable. Scary, but adorable.
