Before RaDona even started this video, she added some color to our client Karen’s hair. She added some dark to the bottom and back of her hair. This is called windowing. RaDona then brightened up her blonde. There is still some warm toned blonde in there, but she just added some brightness to her client Karen’s hair. This will help ease your client into going super blonde. This will also give it a good mixture to help with the dimension of the hair. For this haircut, RaDona is doing an asymmetrical pixie for women with short hair. So it will look a lot like RaDona’s haircut. So short on one side, short in the back, short and spikey on the top, and then longer hair on the other side. This client Karen wanted RaDona to do something different for her. She wanted something fun, easy, and short! So RaDOna decided to give her the haircut that everyone loves and enjoys on this page. This will really help brighten up her face, and make her look more youthful. This haircut is perfect for this client and anyone whose hair naturally grows angled to the face. This haircut will make it so you work with the hair and not against it. Make sure that you point cut into the hair to help give the hair some little layers and create movement in the hair as well.The point cut technique will also help ensure that you do not add bulk to the hair. This client has fine hair so you will want to add some texture and certain products to help give the hair some volume.
To recap, in this video you will see RaDona do an asymmetrical pixie for women with short hair. This client found RaDona on our website that we have. For this particular client, she wanted a little bit of a change. So RaDona gave her her haircut. RaDona also added some dark brown and light brown to the back of the hair; this is called windowing. This haircut is perfect for this client and anyone whose hair naturally grows angled to the face. This haircut will make it so you work with the hair and not against it. Make sure that you point cut into the hair to help give the hair some little layers and create movement in the hair as well.
For products used in this hairstyle, RaDona will pull out all of her tips and tricks with Monat. Monat has a wide range of products to make sure that they cater to all of your hair needs and hair types. In this case, RaDona is going to use some “magic” products to help give the appearance that her client has thicker hair and give her hair some volume. To start with the styling, RaDona starts with using Monat’s Root lifter. With this, it will help lift the roots up from her clients hair to help make the roots lift and appear thicker. This way it also adds some volume to her clients thinning hair. She then uses Monat’s Moxie Magnifying Mousse this will help condition the hair while providing a touchably soft hold. This will also help give RaDona’s client volume, body, and movement. Make sure that you only use one squirt of Monat’s Moxie Magnifying Mousse since it is super concentrated. Then RaDona uses Monat’s thickening spray. This will help make the hair appear thicker, but it also adds extra body, bounce, and volume to the hair shaft with a flexible hold. After you blow dry the hair, you can just leave the hair like this. If you want to style it, you can use Monat’s clay to help move the hair to stand up and piece out. Then you will use Monat’s Rejuvenique Oil to help with any frizz.

Yes, This style can definitely work on curly hair… You may just have a little bit more work to get the straight spiked look, but if you don’t mind a little bit more of a curl you can definitely do a cute messy look.
