Conar is running his own trapline at 17. He has pickup some tips and tricks the past few years and is adding his own ideas to hopefully reduce an overpopulated predator population.
Thanks! Kinda difficult to keep a dry land line out with the constant flooding rain. Need to run a line throughout fall and winter to maximize effectiveness but can’t get in anywhere here with deer season and duck hunting because no one wants someone in and out
Oh I’ve got one but he likes that thing. He usually has no problem but that pup was really scared. Bigger yotes typically stretch it and lay down. Maybe one day he’ll take the old man’s advice lol
Been waiting on the trapping to start. Awesome start! It’s always a good day when you catch a coyote. If you don’t mind me asking, what fox pen do you sell too?
I’m not sure who he sells to. I think a guy in Saginaw. He’s looking for someone to seek to that will give a little more than his current buyer. We got a really late start but have a predator control permit so we might trap late this year if weather will stop being so crazy
Yeah weather has been terrible for trapping. Reason I asked was I used to live in the southern part of the state and now live in the northern part and can’t find anyone up here that deals in live market. Best of luck on catching critters this year.
Good work ! I've heard that some trappers capture their coyotes by tying them up and muzzling them with electrical tape when they don't have a cage A video on this would be nice! Can you make a video on this ? Please, I'd love to see that!
I’m not sure we have a need to do it that way, I don’t really think Conar would want to. He’s trying to keep them as healthy as possible for his buyer. The risk of him getting bit wouldn’t be worth doing a video.
Great job Conar! looking forward to some more videos!
He’s hoping to make more lol
Nice catch ! Good work ..Goodluck Out There BeSafe
Weather hasn’t been very friendly with the freeze/thaw and rain, but he’s determined to make a run of it late
Heck yeah!!! Awesome start to the line👍
That is very true.

@@montybrooks9499 It’s getting tougher to find someone and if you do, sometimes they’re not needing any. Dog hunting is dwindling little by little
Good work !
