I think that this is wonderful . It's something positive to do. There is a thrift store out by me who hires people with special needs and they are so nice and helpful. This is great too bad that there aren't more places like this

I work at a group home for violently disabled adults, this is a great idea, often families just need a break.

I been going to day programs for 9 years and I’m really happy about that.
I do enjoy the fun there but day programs has brings me nothing but misery because I think is not a good idea to put disabled people in programs and I am one of those people.
No one really understands what the day programs put me through, me personally.. the programs took my grandmothers away from me.
I could have find a job on my own but I was put in the day program instead along with a job with it.
I would do anything putting an end to day programs once and for all.
