@@SleepyJoesDiaper Dude, I had an egregious amount of unspeakable, illegal fun!!! Went 99-01 (I think, kinda blurry). Man they ON 🔥 back then, Mikey at his peak..whooo those were some good times! Headed back to NOLA for Halloween this year. Billy Strings is the SH*T and his Halloween shows are not to be missed!!
@@an5925 Billy Strings is atop the list of live shows I’d like to see. Have fun. As far as Panic goes, I’ve been a few times with Herring playing lead. I constantly compare the sound to Mike’s and it’s not even in the same realm for me. I caught onto their music in 1995 and started going to the live shows in 96. The songs take me back to that place in time.
Shelli I was there too and it seems like yesterday!...saw a lot of epic runs at Oak Mtn. but this one took the cake...the combo of panic playing in peak form with the crowd and band's raw emotion made for a once in a lifetime experience. I really admire the boys for carrying on and they do it well, but Panic w/out Mikey is just not the same...his guitar was the epicenter of their sound, unique and irreplaceable..Before Mikey's death, Panic was of the greatest bands to ever grace the stage......
houserearcandy well said I was there also from 98 on this was it there's not a month that goes by that I don't think about this three night run I'm not a musician or any type of artist but I made a lot of panic shows this run stays in my soul
I remember back in 2001 when WSP played the Keystone, CO (ski resort) parking lot in June 2001 and it was the most enjoyable experience of my life, Panic was all new to me and I could not believe what was really happening, talk about a scene from the Star Wars bar :) there were hippies in tents camped on Hwy 6 for at least a week and unfortunately they left just a bit more than there footprints, which is why WSP is forever banned from playing there again, WSP kids changed my life forever and I'm blessed beyond my gratitude
God damn, I miss Mikey. Saw my first show in 1994 and was immediately hooked. His sound was so unique and amazing. I was at Mikey's last show, not long after this show. This video makes me happy and sad at same time.
This tour ended up being my last for decades. I was one lucky fucker! Panic truly in it's PRIME! This show was practically in my backyard. It is the last time Mikey played Oak Mountain Pelham AL RIP Mikey so glad you could make it.
An honest tune with a lingering lead sure keeps me goin'!!!!! And keep on driving rush1er. This ain't the stop for you. Guess you missed the "unwelcome" sign beeeaatch!!!
Chills big time. Thank you!
driving > breathing slow cant be beaten! this is pure love and mastery
Miss Mikey!
The NOLA Halloween runs in late 90's-early 2000's were just SICK!
So grateful I was there!
I’m from Dallas, it’s 10 hrs to NOLA. I was there ‘00 & ‘01. UNO’s arena sucks but it was peak Panic. Hope you had as much fun as I did! 🤪
