Nice tour Wayne, I lived in a similar design a few years back. It was good for the cooler months but perhaps a bit too warm in the hot season. I love the traditional Thai style places Wayne. The one bedroom place looks great. Noise from neighbours may be an issue. It's in a great location near shops and the market. A fair way from the old city if you don't have transport. I guess the yellow or white songthaews provide a cheap ride into town. I have a banana tree in my backyard and it only has one green leaf. Pitiful!

I love those traditional Thai homes. They are pretty much the same up Kanchanaburi way where I have stayed before on the wife's family farm in the past. Very nice and an absolute steal at around AUD300.00 (Aussie) a month When you moving in Wayne? 🤩
Nice units very accommodating. Didn’t see if they had a refrigerator in the kitchen, did they? I would need some seating maybe small couch for the inside living area. 8000 baht good rate.
I love it. Quiet very clean and mostly furnished. A small garden. You can have a dog etc etc and a few chickens. No flooding. Can you get internet in that place
Very cute property. Actually would love to see more places like that even suitable for a small family. We have a 10 yr old. We’re thinking of moving there and starting a business bit right now it’s only a thought. Online I have seen some 3 bedroom homes even for $500 usd a month which for our family would be amazing! We are wasting away here in the Us with our high mortgage especially where we are in New Hampshire near the Massachusetts border. My husband has family just outside of Udon Thani so it would be nice to do something else for a bit but for now, my husband does have an amazing job here but we’re really contemplating just taking a step down and doing something else :) love your videos by the way. Hope the tourist season picks up this year so all the businesses can get back up from the struggle

I second this idea. But wayne, if you do this, there must be some standards. It really should be a studio. At least a bed, a sofa, a desk, a kitchen and a bathroom with shower. Not an empty 10m² room.

About 20 minutes into town Robert. Loads of shops and markets around. The restaurants will be a bit thin but you'll find some around. I could live here easy .
Restful, peaceful, and accommodating. Would be glad not to pay for a pool, or a gym. Two baths would work for a couple, but I would need to trim that extravagance. Always the Goldilocks deliberation; damn, I'm particular. Sweet deal in a green locality.

Look a snip mate for that money for anyone looking for a more Thai experience. Are those prices for one year contracts or monthly? Outside of City but convenient for shops etc. Great for anyone working from home.
These are nice properties that appear to be well-made and have a lot of character, but I wouldn't recommend them for foreigners. The showpiece is the downstairs living area that lacks privacy and will almost certainly become very noisy once surrounded by Thais. A lack of Thai communication skills will make it even more challenging. As a temporary stay they could be cool but long-term I'd personally opt for somewhere else.

The problem of the condos is there are far away from the city. If you have no cicle or car you must always take a taxi . I am looking for a condo near by the action is like Astra condo. But those are already rented
Yes, you would ideally need some sort of transport to live here. Many great places in the city and alot of places getting built now. I have some new condo videos coming soon.

That's right Rudd, these houses would reduce flood damage. I guess the kitchen and bathroom could get flooded but most possessions would be upstairs.

I would live there in a heartbeat even with my missus and teenage son who like sleeping in the same area room as us even though he has his own room down stairs i would have a ping pong table punching bag weights i would have a couple of fans attached to ceiling would be good how far is a pool Wayne

Sold, I'll just eat out maybe buy a small fridge for drinks and snacks. Frankly, it's perfect in retirement barely no cleaning. Winner! Probably less for a year. Does that include wifi and utilities?
Yes mate, it will prob be cheaper for the year. I would say wifi included but it's hard to tell when every property will have a different owner.
