That one where you sit-up and get the far underhook is just what I was looking for. Staller who just sit back like a rock does not believe what just happened when I hit him with this super simple sweep tomorrow! Big OSS!
This is the best lasso related video I've seen. I was able to get lots of sweeps thanks to this despite my team mates being aware lasso is my favorite guard.

@@BIGOSS.JIU-JITSU I have been training BJJ for 11 years and I am now a brownbelt instructor in China. Your teaching style is very systematic and you don’t hold anything back in these videos. Thank you very much! I really meant what I wrote.
Excellent video. Thanks for sharing. I went to buy your instructional on BJJ fanatics and i would have already bought it by now except Google pay isn't accepted, nor PayPal. I don't have my card with me right now. I'm just sharing this to let you know how much more convenient these payment methods are! When I get to my wallet I'll be picking up the instructional. Big Oss!!!!!!
@@BIGOSS.JIU-JITSU I am sharing with my students. Thank you again. I started doing lasso at purple belt because of a shoulder injury and never stopped. My professor has a great open guard & butterfly guard like MARCELO( Big OSS him) Lasso wasn't his thing so those intricate details he really couldn't give me,but now I have you. I'm my professor's first black belt I intend to make him proud but I honor your details and give you credit to my improvements. I thank you more than you know.
Yes i try to show the details that anyone can do and build from there, please share the videos with your friends they might need to see as well BIG OSS
I watched this video and was immediately able to execute the techniques... in my dreams. No literally. I dreamed of doing them. Now I need to do them IRL and also stop just using lasso to stall and use it to attack.
Muito bom!!! As a white belt but so far this is my go to moves feel very safe and very controlled when doing it to the white belts blue. Purple up struggling gotta learn more more more and perfect it.
@@BIGOSS.JIU-JITSU OSS brother...I do.love the material and pulled off a couple techniques tonight 😂😂. The one where you hold the sleeve and whip your leg over their heads was a charm ...I must have did that 3 times during our ( guard passing / sweep drill tonight) 😝
Thank you for your educational videos, Professor Marcos. I am a white belt and try to do the lasso every I spar. However, the blue belts and higher belts always counter my attack. They tend to sit flat on one leg, with the other leg positioned in an upright position, leaning their bodies backwards. Is it wise to get the lasso first and then use my free hand to break their posture by pulling down on the collar?
Really nice. Thank you. Just curious, setting up the double sleeve you say arms never outside? Why? When I think of classic double sleeve-feet in hips, that's what I think of? What are the issues with that? Thanks
If you they both arms outside of your leg it’s easy for them to put weight into your shin, like a lot pressure they can even hold your belt or pants around the your hip and you will be stuck there and get tired from pushing, BUT when you control both sleeve feet on the hip and THEIR arms inside of you legs you win the connections most of the time. BIG OSS
what if on the last one, the oppponent opens the leg out or just stands with pressure on the lasso? any counter for that? Finding it hard to do that scissor with the leg smashed, even if the knee is still out.
Whats your difficulties when they stands up from your LASSO GUARD
Im a purple belt and play lasso, one black belt stood up straight like a headlight to counter my guard. I think you should make a video for that😅
Ps:big oss

"Staller" is funny. If you think someone else is stalling then you're stalling as well.
@@MyMW3Channelnever heard such tripe in my life.
I really like the Lasso, I want to perfect it as a white belt with the pressure passing systems.
