I feel like Uncomfortable is used too much as an emotion. I think it would be a good idea to change Low Energy and Low Hunger to Dazed, since that’s a severely underused emotion. Low Hygiene should also bring a new emotion: Disgusted, which leads to Repulsed. --- Low Fun -> Bored Low Energy -> Dazed Low Bladder -> Uncomfortable Low Hygiene -> Disgusted Low Social -> Sad Low Hunger -> Dazed --- As for this new Disgusted emotion, I don’t think there should be an emotional death to go along with it. It should however be an emotion that sims experience whenever a room is dirty, a sim nearby has low hygiene, when a sim eats rotten food. When a vegetarian sim eats meat, they should be repulsed at themself. When an unflirty sim witnesses a couple woohooing or kissing in public, they should be disgusted. (Also, I’m completely aware of the mods for low energy and fun; that’s where I got the idea) What do you guys think?
Aw man, I wish this was an actual emotion in the game. I have a lot of mental illness trait mods & it would be a lot more realistic if some (anxiety, bpd, ocd, etc) were able to get scared instead of only tense.

I wish EA/a mod creator would add a 3rd stage sad, depressed. They would kill themselves (maybe it's not kid friendly so that's why they didn't add maybe) And I also have some idea for character traits: •Unlucky: Sims would have a higher chance of electrocution, fire, lightning struck, eaten by cow plant, takes more time to increase social and romance with someone and is more affected to Embarrassed moodlet. •Sleepyhead: Sims would need to sleep more than others and is more affected to low energy. •Hardworking: Sims would tire less when working hard at work and would gain the Happy or Confident moodlet after finishing an aspiration or a work task. •Natural Singer: Sims would gain the Confident moodlet after singing. They would take less time to increase Singing skill. •Police: Sims would scold/yell at a nearby sim who made a Mischief/Mean interaction. They would gain the Angry moodlet when someone is being Mischief/Mean at them. They would gain the Embarrassed moodlet is they do a Mischief/Mean interaction. •Spicefighter: Sims would have a higher chance to succeed in the spicy challenge and isn't affected by spicy food.
Anyone else wish this was just an emotion in the defaults? Tense just doesn't do as well for sims actually being scared. Tense even for my real life is more related to Stressed than Fear. I hope I worded that in a way that's understandable.
TBH if sims 4 released an emotion pack where they bumped up the effects (besides just having your sim DIE if a meter gets too high) I would buy in a heartbeat. It seems kind of crazy that my sim acts the same when they're sad vs happy for the most part besides some animations. Maybe if they had it so that if your sim is really sad they get distracted or take longer to do things, are tired more easily etc...like you would be if you were depressed. Maybe if they're energetic they actually do more things faster/peppier and had more options to do. They could really go into the gameplay a little more but for now their emotions matter about 0 percent for most of my gameplay because unless they are SEVERELY uncomfortable nothing really changes in my gameplay.
Does anyone know a mod that makes sims scared of vampires and mermaids? because now they're just socialising with vamps not finding it weird that they drink their blod when they feel like it. And maybe something that makes vamps and mermaids keep their identities secret in fear of being arrested and locked up or something?
I feel like an opposite trait should be added similar to the Supernatural Fan or Daredevil trait from the Sims 3 where instead of your sim feeling scared they get energized from usually 'scary' things. Also, why haven't the devs thought to add this emotion? It seems like a pretty obvious one; props to Neil though.

It took EA a year to add a fear emotion to the game, it's official now.

Fear isn’t something natural to this sim. (Sim Name) is usually happy, but when they feel otherwise, it may be boosted.
