I once had a sim in Sims 1 who died while cooking her dinner after coming home from work. The last savepoint was when she went to work. So I did the most reasonable thing, restarted the file, removed the stove and tried again. This time, she set her microwave on fire and died. Reloaded, removed the microwave and tried again. She used the toaster oven, same thing again, set fire on the toaster and died... At this point I thought she was cursed. So I removed ALL electrical appliances. She had a salad that night! Success! Next day came, she went to work like usual and then came back home as a tombstone because she was shot at work because she was working as a thief.... :D

I'll laugh if the description of a explicit mod calls out the horny teenagers like "Warning: only people who are 18 years old or over and people who lie about their age can use this mod".

Every website with potential adult content (UA-cam itself, fanfic websites, etc) has a warning because it would be a liability otherwise. It’s like that one GIF of the guy opening the dead dove bag. At least they warned you, so an angry parent who saw sims porn on their kids computer can’t sue.
I'm the repeater. I load the game and play normally for a few weeks, being a mixed bag of all 30 types, and then BAAM, I forget the game even exists for the next 4 years. Rinse, wash, repeat.
The favourite player: Only watching out for the needs of a single, favourite SIM, and let the needs of other SIMS in the household totally untended or while the favourite SIM is doing something that take time. They will always look at their favourite every ten seconds or so, so that SIM doesn't deterior in their needs or go on not doing anything.

I only use "kaching", so it gives me 1,000 simeons instead of 50,000. It helps when it's on the weekend, I have around 100 simeons and want to build something on my house.

I have weird Sim guilt too. Even when they get impregnated by aliens and I really wasn't planning on kids for that Sim yet, I raise the baby and try to give it a good life when I could have easily sent it back to its home world.
I've nothing against cheats - if they weren't meant to be used, they wouldn't be in the released game. I mean, the method to access them hasn't been changed, and if they really weren't meant to be used, that would have been addressed by now! But, I prefer not to use them. (I am considering making a second file to play with them, but haven't done so yet.) In my main file, I've had to enable cheats exactly once, to fix a bug - a sim aged up to adult but did not prompt me to give him a third trait and was stuck with two.

Speaking of challenges, there’s this one that has made me feel EVIL for doing. I was looking at the official goals that The Sims 4 had, and there was this challenge called “Black Widow”, where you have to outlive 5 spouses, and I said to myself: “Challenge accepted…” And so I started a new save file, created a male sim, had him marry, became a father to twins (boy and girl), and that’s when he was on the death wish. It was hard for my heart to do at first, because I fell in love with the idea of my sim becoming a lovely father to his children, but I started this save file for a reason, so I stuck to my task and finished the job by having him get eaten by a cow plant. I had the female sim marry again, this time to a sim who wasn’t someone I liked as much. They had a baby together, he was in some affair, they fought, they forgave, and I starved him. So far, the twins are now children, the third kid is a toddler, and currently I’m looking for a third unfortunate husband that will make me another baby and end up on the death wish.
I am so the faint hearted player, I have had the game for 2 years and it's full of big, happy families with no one divorced and I have never intentionally killed a sim. And yes, I turn off aging.
I'm trying to slowly get some drama in there - I still have aging turned off, but my teenage son recently had a nasty break up. I'm so proud of myself for not immediately leaving without saving the game after that...

I was unlucky once. It took me like an hour to make a mother and a daughter on Sims 4. I bought them a house and wanted to start from scratch. THE VERY FIRST THING I DID was make the mother cook something. IT CAUGHT ON FIRE so I restarted the game because I was like “Boy. I don’t want you to catch on fire at all” so I did it again and made her cook but the sAME THING HAPPENED so I was like “fine. Catch on fire. Idc”. So the house was on fire and the daughter caught on fire and she ran outside because that’s what you do when your house is on fire. The mother died and everyone who walked passed the daughter just looked at her and continued walking away and then the Reaper came and took the mother then eventually the daughter died. I just deleted that game and started another family

I only use the “motherlode” cheat at-least once to make my ideal dream house lol and once it’s complete, it’s game on!
i try not to use it and im like 'OH NO IM RUNNING LOW ON MONEY' and go 'motherlode' much better ;)
I only use "kaching", so it gives me 1,000 simeons instead of 50,000. It helps when it's on the weekend, I have around 100 simeons and want to build something on my house.
After I figured out HOW to cheat....yeah...

I- I lock pepole in my Sims basement and make the paint art for money- anf I watch them all die when I dont feed them-
I have weird Sim guilt too. Even when they get impregnated by aliens and I really wasn't planning on kids for that Sim yet, I raise the baby and try to give it a good life when I could have easily sent it back to its home world.

I've nothing against cheats - if they weren't meant to be used, they wouldn't be in the released game. I mean, the method to access them hasn't been changed, and if they really weren't meant to be used, that would have been addressed by now! But, I prefer not to use them. (I am considering making a second file to play with them, but haven't done so yet.) In my main file, I've had to enable cheats exactly once, to fix a bug - a sim aged up to adult but did not prompt me to give him a third trait and was stuck with two.

Speaking of challenges, there’s this one that has made me feel EVIL for doing.
I was looking at the official goals that The Sims 4 had, and there was this challenge called “Black Widow”, where you have to outlive 5 spouses, and I said to myself: “Challenge accepted…”
And so I started a new save file, created a male sim, had him marry, became a father to twins (boy and girl), and that’s when he was on the death wish.
It was hard for my heart to do at first, because I fell in love with the idea of my sim becoming a lovely father to his children, but I started this save file for a reason, so I stuck to my task and finished the job by having him get eaten by a cow plant.
I had the female sim marry again, this time to a sim who wasn’t someone I liked as much.
They had a baby together, he was in some affair, they fought, they forgave, and I starved him.
So far, the twins are now children, the third kid is a toddler, and currently I’m looking for a third unfortunate husband that will make me another baby and end up on the death wish.
Tbh it depends on my mood when I play ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I usually alternate between the failed realist and challenger XD

I am so the faint hearted player, I have had the game for 2 years and it's full of big, happy families with no one divorced and I have never intentionally killed a sim. And yes, I turn off aging.

I was unlucky once. It took me like an hour to make a mother and a daughter on Sims 4. I bought them a house and wanted to start from scratch. THE VERY FIRST THING I DID was make the mother cook something. IT CAUGHT ON FIRE so I restarted the game because I was like “Boy. I don’t want you to catch on fire at all” so I did it again and made her cook but the sAME THING HAPPENED so I was like “fine. Catch on fire. Idc”. So the house was on fire and the daughter caught on fire and she ran outside because that’s what you do when your house is on fire. The mother died and everyone who walked passed the daughter just looked at her and continued walking away and then the Reaper came and took the mother then eventually the daughter died.
I just deleted that game and started another family
