It sounds like a perfect mix of Discharge+Mob 47 worship. It doesn't sound like it's from 1986, it reminds me of all the D-Beat worship bands from the mid-late 90's.
If you mean Carcass, Sanjiv recorded vocals for the now widely circulated 'Flesh Ripping Sonic Torment' demo. He was at least, credited for it, and as far as I know it is his vocals on the demo.
@AfYN ...you are right, the names on the cassette cover are most certainly the guys playing on this. ie: it is indeed Middie on drums & not Ken ....the original band was Middie, Pek, Bill & Mike Poole (Dementia) on bass.....I don't think Mike wanted to do both bands so Middie asked me to audition. After the demo & a coupla gigs I got off for some reason :-/, then Mids & Pek & the rest is history....... FYI 'unknown' is called 'Black Heart'........I think. :-) peace.....Paul (bass)
WOw thanks for uploading this full album..Never new this band turned into carcass...what a change I would say has more of a HC crust early hellbastard sound
all quiet I'm afraid....I did get sent an audio cassette tape of the probable stuff that was gonna be used inc our take on 'Ace of Spades'....bit rough but I'm very good on it ;o)....I've stuck it on cd-r if you want a copy....incs a coupla Discharge covers which I aint on & runs for about 14mins.
Pek/Sanjiv was the original Carcass vocalist on their demo. You are incorrect. In the latest interview with Jeff Walker he specifically states that this band BECAME Carcass. Sanjiv was apparently unhappy with the shift to metal and abruptly quit after recording vocals for Flesh Ripping Sonic Torment. This is the origin of Carcass, undisputedly.
@07725539147 .........last year this was bootlegged as an e.p. on purple vinyl but only with a run of 100 copies & I think you'd have a job getting one now. No idea where the source was...mebbe Denmark....a few went on ebay for about £10. Mids says there might be something getting released in Brazil soon & I've just been interviewed for a South Korean mag/fanzine about the band...25yrs on, it's all a bit bizarre. Paul
totally nice ?....NICE??????...how dare you :-) actually the intro was meant to have a majestic church organ kinda sound 'cept all I could get from a keyboard that was laying about in studio was something resembling an ice cream van (more to do with me than the keyboard you understand).....thanks all the same, I wrote that one (well, I showed Bill the chords & insisted on a bass solo) & I'll take 'nice' every time. Paul
They never recorded anything with Sanjiv, and he was in the band for a very, very short time. It's been Jeff Walker since what might as well be the beginning.
@@marcodietrich5318 alright mate. I have a cd-r of the band if you want it. & an Aussie record label is doing a vinyl issue as we speak. I sent over some pics last week for the sleeve. My email is pkeagle69@hotmail.com if you wanna keep in touch.
@@paulkelly8642 Thank you Paul! This is great to hear from you! Thank you so much for the NEWS and keep us all updated what happen with the "band". Great to hear that all. I will email you one of these days.
You can hear lots of early carcass riffs here.
You can hear a lot of crust in Carcass
the resemblance on 1st track to Carcass song "Suppuration" is just overwhelming

3:01 sounds like that riff on Mercyful Fate's Don't Break the Oath

Bill used a lot of Mercyful Fate and King Diamond stuff. You can hear it all over Necroticism and Heartwork.
@Lem65 the tune is just right, compliments for making such a REAL deal type of track, that just really captured what punk felt like, back then :oD
the track fashion faction is totally nice
this is great.

Flesh Ripping Sonic Torment was recorded with Sanjiv AKA Pek. You are incorrect.

If only the drum beat was in time with the rest of the band !
It's kinda crazy to think that this band wound up creating Heartwork.
