Hey bro! I'm very glad to know you took my advice on the pre-mix 25:1 fuel to get. I used to also get high octane pump fuel, but the ethanol killed the carbs in a matter of 2 years (even with ethanol stabilizers). Another thing is that 9-11 dollar Quart will last you a long time, so cost really is'nt a big factor as you know! Very happy to see a GAS video, a sickening 5T!
Hey hybrid I also bought a few quarts of this recently on your recommendation. But a few guys were saying 25:1 was too rich for these motors, should do 50:1? Have you or anyone ever had experience with the fid electric start systems for these motors as well?
Nice ride I’ve got one on back order that I’m waiting till July on. My 30 defeee north ddt 7 has kept me very happy. It’s a solid rig through and through. I’m also in my 50’s been doing rcs for almost 40 yrs
Cool to see another 5ive t 2.0 video, i've been watching a lot of 5t videos because i'm planning to get one in blue in 2025 i'm going to start saving up early next year. but currently i'm saving up for a couple new electric cars and doing work to both my Slash 4x4's. again after this year i will start saving up for my new 5t 2.0 and hopefully i won't have my neighborhood's HOA coming after me when i get mine.
Great info. I agree. VP fuel is where it's at. I actually use their 4 cycle fuel in a gallon can then mix Maxima Castor 927 at 25:1 with it. 94 octane ethanol free. Love the smell too. Between the VP smell and the castor oil. Yuum lol
The LOSI DBXL 2.0 is my 1st 5th Scale RC. I had a problem with mixing the gas and oil and ran it so rich that it fouled out my Spark Plug. I got a new plug (not cheap as I thought) and put it in. But I really worried about the possibility of buildup’s in the engine. I know it’s not recommended, but I took a different approach to removing the residue from the engine. I got some fresh 93 octane gas and some Lucas Deep Clean, Fuel System Cleaner. I mixed it with my gas according to the bottle instructions. I was a little bit afraid, but I did it anyway in a 2 gallon can. I then added the oil to the gas and put it in my vehicle. It was an experience watching how much faster it floated over the surface of the field. My exhaust is actually cleaner and the exhaust from the engine is barely visible. I know what the manual says and I saw how differently my vehicle responded! Lucas says that it is “GOOD FOR ALL ENGINES!” I had to find out, and being honest with myself I could see it moving so fast that I don’t think I need a Bartalone Exaust.
That Losi looks and sounds awesome especially with the added performance pipe. ...I think the new fuel is a good idea, the fact that it ran so well with no extra tuning says it all..... Pitbulls truck is beautiful in white smashing looking... Celebrating push-ups is certainly the way to go... Brilliant 😂💯
Great explanation at the end. You being a mechanic by trade shows. I havexa 2005 Volvo s40. 5speed naturally aspirated. I've been running ethanol free 91 octaine in it lately. It seems to like it. Payed 3.79 a gallon compared to regular at 3.20 a gallon here in northern Newhampshire. I'm lucky I live in vaca country. Almost every gas station here has ethanol free. Feel bad for you guys in Cali. Great little video. Ps. Hope rc guy is OK. No videos in a week. God bless
I was just talking about Nitro & how expensive all fuels are becoming. Sounds really good 👍 Your tune is always pretty good even when they have been sitting for a while 💯💯💯
Good stuff Earl. I've been using VP in my nitros and gassers for a while. Never was comfortable putting that ethanol stuff in my 5T. That pipe sound so good, she's idling right👍
Agreed about the octane thing. What I think is funny is that they charge more money for high octane for some weird reason. But yeah the lower octane ignites sooner so you get less compression from the piston before it ignites. You get more complete combustion with high octane with less unburned fuel. Seems like it should be cheaper than low octane. That’s how it was explained to me anyways. Good video buddy. Spreading the gas gospel
Thank you for the gas information. About to get one but I want to do it right since they are high in price. I want to make sure I make it last. Thank you
Hey mate, I have the same pipe, lol it's loud alright. I wonder how long that race fuel lasts for in the can ? I'm in Australia, I can still get 98 octane, pump fuel. I need to drain my losi and start it very soon! Thanks for the tip, on the vp fuel.
Your 5t sounds awesome with that pipe, I have a DBXL 2.0...do you know if a Losi pipe is available for it....I would.prefer genuine Losi part....sounds like you gained some RPM's with that pipe....it definitely revs quicker....👍👍
I've never run pump gas in my RCs I was using VP c9 because it was ethanol free and mixing with dominator. But now I am using VP premix still ethanol free but 50 to 1... And I'm having great luck with that oil to fuel ratio
Thats sounds awesome , is that right rear wheel hitting something as was looking like it was or was bound up , yes i know exactly about ruining the carbs as me rovan 1:5th has needed a carbie change during the sitting months and months of the planed-demic LOL thanks for more content earl 🙂
I am using vp power or SEF 93 octane with amsoil dominator or saber in my car , keep the fuel in the tank over a year still running, I don’t run fuel pump gas even it said 91 octane
I don’t know this man from Adam, but he’s built himself an awesome Savage XL. And the pipe he’s using is not from the original build. That one is three times nicer. Just thought you may appreciate it. Here’s the link. ua-cam.com/video/PMaZAUf8lds/v-deo.html
I just got my 5T I went with a 30 degrees north and I went electric 12s hobbywing Max for 800kv and I'll tell you what I've been sending that thing you have to check it out it's unbelievable

And don’t forget, think Hakko.

Your gonna love it Earl that’s what I run , so much easier then mixing plus it runs so much better in my opinion 🤘🏼

Yes I alway just cleaned them but now not knowing how much ethanol in the fuel don’t want to damage them 👍💯⚠️⚠️
Sorry “VP”. Still coming down from that KC and Cindy game….lol
VP also has 40 and 50 to 1, the hardware store near me carries VP Fuel
Awesome video

Thankfully around here we can still get 91 no-oxy & that's all I run in any of my small engines or gasser RC
I run that fuel on my 5t and it does great i have had no carb problems.

VP great fuel it will keep your 5T running longer ethanol free so your carb won’t gum up 👍🛠️👊
Yes now to figure out my real cars fuel 😢
I use VT also, but it never seems like the whole bottle is full…..lol
Your 5t sounds awesome with that pipe, I have a DBXL 2.0...do you know if a Losi pipe is available for it....I would.prefer genuine Losi part....sounds like you gained some RPM's with that pipe....it definitely revs quicker....👍👍
Yes the new pipe is out as I put a 32cc 2.0 that smith rc studio sold me for my dbxl and made it like the 2.0 and added a Losi pipe to it as well 👌👍
@@earlmoorhead5555 thanks buddy I will look it up....love the channel keep it up👍👍💯

I go to the desert Palmdale
Can you give more information on desert lime Palmdale?

Notification squad 👌💯💪👑🔔

Yes we don’t have anything over 91 at the pump but we have a trick race fuel pump with 101 octane just way expensive 👌💯👍
@@earlmoorhead5555 ok make sense man
I thought you were gonna tell that classic Mack joke... why does Mack mount a bulldog on the hood? So one butthole can look at another.
Lmao 🤣
How did the Xmaxx catch on fire, shorted out?
The XRT I soldered the esc wrong by mistake

does it need to install upgraded parts or it is already good with stockparts?
I’ve ran it stock the whole time added a pipe the last run but feel it need a better clutch and springs 👌
😎💯💯💯
Were on line can you get it.
Online for what ?
VP racing fuel ⛽️
Home depot or Lowes sales premixed 2stroke gas...or go to an airport and buy avgas...120 octane😎 makes a 2 stroke dirt bike scream
I just got my 5T I went with a 30 degrees north and I went electric 12s hobbywing Max for 800kv and I'll tell you what I've been sending that thing you have to check it out it's unbelievable
Paying for premixed fuel is crazy man Bloody hell talk about money to waste lol. Buy 20L of unleaded and mix it up much better.
To much ethonal in are duels in California to run pump gas
Whoop Whoop
Nice 👍
