    OKC underestimated Harden’s impact, thinking KD and Russ were enough to carry the offense, so they kept Serge instead. Harden was already a star in the making, and trading him broke up what could’ve been an all-time great trio. If Harden was on that 2016 team, his playmaking and scoring would’ve helped close out the Warriors when they had the 3-1 lead.

    The fact that James said he would have refused to keep being the sixth man is why they would have never won a championship. What made that team so dangerous was having a player of his caliber coming off the bench to provide the spark. He would have most def played in crunch time so it wouldn’t have mattered. Manu Ginobli came off the bench is entire career and won multiple championships with the spurs. Everyone has a role to play. This is why James harden will never be an NBA Champion.

      Ginobili's a great player, but he's no James Harden. He's not a league MVP. Plus, if you're going to ask an elite player to come off the bench, you still need to be willing to pay said player elite money. OKC wasn't willing to do that for Harden. So Harden went to an organization that valued him as an elite player. He made the right career decision.

It would've been better if he came off the bench bc he could've dominated. I feel like he wanted to be the star but who knows. It's different once it already established as a star to take less money but harden was still building his brand. 4 million is nothing to him today. I would've taken the hit bc players don't realize that as a star u can make more money off the court. These players depend too much on their sport to get paid instead of parlaying that money into more successful business ventures.

    I think there was no way they were gonna keep all three of those guys happy I think they maybe would have won one championship. They were together during the superteam era they weren't far and away the most loaded team even with those three guys. I think the real issue is that the OKC front office never found the 3 and D guys to put around the stars.
    You look at those Miami teams they had Shane Battier, Mike Miller, Chalmers, etc. OKC already had Westbrook at PG and Perkins at Center. They Had KD and Harden but whether they lost Harden or not, they just needed way more shooting around those guys.

    Noooo James no. I can’t let him get away with that. Brooklyn is one thing… we don’t really know what happened to cause that blow up. James the reason it didn’t work in Philly is cuz u and your co-star didn’t show up. People thought y’all were better than the Heat you had 2 freaking points in the first half of the close out game 6 AT HOME and y’all lost. And then you’re up 3-2 with another close out game 6 AT HOME and y’all boys scored 2 points in the last 5 minutes of game time and if I’m not mistaken, they were Tyrese Maxey free throws. Sacrificing “didn’t work” cuz YALL AINT COME THROUGH LMAO

    • @bluecheckmiya
      @bluecheckmiya 25 днів тому

      I also calling cap on the GS dynasty talk cuz it’s not just that y’all were up 3-2 in that series as well, but that next year you’re tied 2-2, KD goes down in the 3rd quarter you guys are up 10. Y’all lose that game go down 3-2… go BACK HOME and Steph Curry has 0 POINTS IN THE ENTIRE FIRST HALF!!! And you guys get closed out ON YOUR HOME FLOOR!!!! And don’t tell me you guys just weren’t good enough before that cuz in 2015 you had a 19 and 12 starting center with a championship level wing defender in Trevor Arriza and other good role players. You guys were in the western conference finals against a GS team that EVERYONE thought was about the same talent level as you guys. Steph Curry just proved to be BETTER THAN YOU. That’s why y’all lost. Those teams were about evenly matched that GS team wasn’t what they became the year after yet. It was Steph Curry and a lot of good players JUST LIKE YOU HAD. Nah bruh and I like James Harden but no bruh im not letting him get away with these lies

      I don't think so. The biggest problem they had was Westbrook being the defacto pg. Harden was really their pg when he was in the game so he determine who got the ball based off who was hot and who wasn't and then call his own mumber when needed. So, he basically was the main thing that stopped Westbrook from messing things up.
