They put me up against the #1 Batman on my stream earlier. I was tight😭
Depending on which girl is in front it will change certain moves. When bubbles is in front the girls move faster but have less knockback. When buttercup is in front they are slower but have more knockback. When blossom is in front its a balance of the 2. Also their neutral specials changes as well as their grounded side special depending on whos in front.
Blossom is red, buttercup is green, and bubbles is blue

Yeah I thought that was really cool when I found that out buttercup for spikes bubbles for top spikes and blossom to knock back and set up a combos.
PPG are pretty insane the leader changes the characters speed and knockout damage, Bubbles has high speed but low knockout, Blossom has balanced speed and knockup, and Buttercup has high knockout but low speed so you can pretty much use all 3 for the perfect moment.

I think the way it works is each BP and season has a new character that you can only get from the battle pass until the season is over, and once the season finishes you can get the character the same as any other, so the pass is more like early access…I think 🤷♂️

Ok so from what I saw from the gameplay overview, changing the leader not only changes the side special, but also the neutral attack, the attack damage and the speed of the character, so if Blossom(the pink one), is in front of the others, the damage of the character and movement speed is like in the middle, if Bubbles(the blue one), is in front then the attack damage is pretty low but the characters speed is high, and then if Buttercup(the green one) is in front, then the character is pretty slow but does higher damage, there’s more to this, but I don’t quite remember it and I don’t wanna take the time to type it out lol, W video

when the green powerpuff girl is in front you can do laser eyes by pressing L1, blue one is like a scream that freezes your opponent sort of like beetle juice, pink one does an ice breathe (idk their names 😭)

made him great. his attacks have more kill potential; before batman would have to get enemies to 130+ to kill normally (without having to time a set up for batbomb) but now he kills at 100-115.
