The momentum and air speed changes make the game looks so much more… like a real video game. Before it felt like models being dragged by computer mouse’s on the stage.

well i'm still getting clipped by Side Attack 1 while jumping, so it really don't matter if she's big or not

The game doesn't feel THAT different to me, but it does feel better to get attacks to land or follow up with. Stripe's buff to his cooldown bite feels nice, I usually hit that when I forget my saw is on cooldown, but now it actually has a use (has a lot of knockback compared to before) and hits more often. Haven't really played much of the PPG, but they feel fun, if not a bit clunky. Fighting them though feels MUCH better than fighting Jack early last season, not so many "Huh?" attacks that hit or come out so fast for no reason. Not many spammy attacks too, fun to fight (though to be fair a lot of the players you fight generally don't know much of how to play the character).
Characters are too slow and moves that look like it’s supposed to hit doesn’t hit and damn near every character can immediately dodge after missing an attack
Have to disagree, fighting powerpuff girls this update feels terrible. They r way more cracked than jack. - less spammy but crazy
Man its crazy how one character can change your whole perspective on a game… I freaking love the Powerpuff girls move set 😭 and the fact i grew up with the show makes it even better

@@XxMRDARKWOLFxX1 Yeah, I think it would have been better to delay the game a few months instead of keeping the old engine. Warner Bros. is likely at fault for rushing the game out.

Tbh after getting to play the “New” Iron Giant, that one change to his plant literally ruined one of his most reliable combos. If you didn’t know you can’t combo down tilt into jab since the launch distance is so intense and because of this the down tilt is a worthless tool in any combo unless you’re jabbing them right on the ledge.
It mainly means Iron Giant’s play style went from doing chaining combos like every other character to doing smaller combos multiple times. I also noticed the Nair changes also means if you hit the enemy behind you they get launched away so you have to get use to dodge behind you to catch them for combos.
He’s still usable though Rage Mode has become infinitely worse. I feel the changes with the burst was fine given how oppressive it was but the shockwave removal destroyed the danger of Rage mode. Now if you can just get in the move does basically nothing. You can try to do both rockets and the down special lasers but it’s far more clunky compared to Rocket Stomp.
Overall as an IG main I’m pretty disappointed how much they gutted him this patch. It also feels worse when other Tanks have better versions of his tools (Jason’s Grab with armor is so much better then IG’s and Superman’s grab shits on both of them EASY)
If I had any hopes for IG Buffs in the future it would be:
- Reintroducing the shockwave but putting it on a cooldown (similar to Black Adam’s lightning on his up air)
- Adjusting the armor on his grab to actually make it usable in more situations
- Introduce more Unique Perks that adjust parts of his kit without making them permanent changes (Ex: Bonzai!! A perk that would give Iron Giant’s down special armor but in return he can cancel out of it.)
Can't believe I saw people saying he feels much better now and more reliable, like wtf? He's so shit to play now and makes him even more combo food than he was before.
@@TheSTATiiCchannel the only parts that feel more reliable are landing Jab into the flower (I will admit before the DI could really fuck you over) and having Nair hit. Other than that he really feels bad now, he feels like he can’t really do Multiversus combos and instead he can just repeat on combo 7 times per stock

Is multiversus worth playing? Everyone said the game is dead.
Those who say the game is dead is ither just still salty about it not being beta speed or are just complaining about the rocky start. Trust me when I say the game is very much not dead. Not by a long shot. The longer time goes on and the more patches we get, the healthier the game is. I highly suggest watching slakerz video about multiversus is alive. It's a great 1! From me, a guy who plays it currently, I'd say it's worth it!

The update includes thick sbmm plus eomm manipulation if you're too good it will nerf you so that below average players can get a w so they don't leave the game

I hope they speed up the release of characters. I just feel like 2 characters each season is gonna feel bad after a bit. Hopefully they do 3 characters a season of even a surprise character. Maybe release a character with a map so it doesn’t feel like we’re getting half the content
2 characters seems solid imo + its been set months in advance so not much we can do about that. also dont want them to rush out lackluster characters
Nah, I think 2 characters each season is the perfect moment if not more than expected. From a character creation standpoint, it’s not easy to create these characters and build unique abilities surrounding it as well the interactions.
The alpha had an issue of putting out new characters every 2 weeks instead of game fixing, unlike this version.
Dude the game is barely competitive with the shitty servers. 2 characters per season is already an insane rate. If you want 3 they will be half baked as hell.

Why can you no longer cancel batmans G. Up attack into any dodges/jumps/specials??
At least let me cancel it on hit. It feels so weird not being able to cancel it for chase or up special at low percents. I don't even see any changes on it listed anywhere.
His new dash attack is amazing.
Landing it at 0 with BatBomb in hand allows you to setup an automatic bomb reset. Bomb explodes right after auto tech.
Also landing his new Leg Sweep with batbomb equipped you can lead into grapple for a stupid early kill. His new routes are sick.
His Up attack not being able to cancel out of on hit is annoying, but a lot of people dodge anyways. I just don't like being stuck there when i haven't whiffed.
Nah, joker not being able to fastfall during upair recovery is fine. just means after the move is out and he can't act, you can't just escape back to the ground because of how good it is as a move in general.

I imagine it's too little too late just like the past few updates. Game is extremely dead. If I don't hear "fighter currency per game", it's over. Yeah, just left their Discord I'd been in since August of '22. Played through the initial beta and everything. Just not gonna take this level of disrespect to my time.

I find plenty of people actually to play the game and that's all that really matters. Also, outside of a few bugs and net code (idk what happened there, it just started this update for some reason) it is better than before. It is a completely new game now and I already thought it was good but now it is awesome
I don't really get the complaint abt fighter currency post Season 2. I agree that Season 1 was way too slow but pretty much all of the S2 events gave you alternative cheaper options to buy new characters (or even directly get Fighter Currency). Unlocking them is so much faster now
