While definitely not in his prime anymore, it is just amazing that this man is still performing at all. Especially as a heavy metal singer! The dude is 70 years old. Born 6 years after WW2 ended. Much respect!
This song was the highlight of my whole time at Bloodstock. Got there on the Tuesday. Loved it all. But I basically went to see Saxon and Judas Priest. In tears,at the sight of Glen. All true Metal God's.
Hearing some interesting changes in his voice and his pronunciation. Looking forward to more videos to observe his voice! It could be going worse or better in a weird way.
The sound levels on stage for this concert must be so much lower than they were in the eighties - you can hear Robs vocals even when the mic is 2 feet from his mouth. In the old days all you would have heard is the guitars. Perhaps the guitarists are all playing through isolated cabinets offstage but I’d imagine they would still like some stage level from the monitors for sustain and feedback.
All three of these Bloodstock videos with Glenn…hardly feature Glenn at all. The editing keeps him out of the videos for the most part, other than a few longer-range shots. So what’s up with that? Has he gotten to the point where he can’t play at all and they don’t want to show that, or is it something else? 🤔. Regardless, we’ll always love you Glenn. You’ve delivered the goods.
He can't play live anymore, but he needs to fake it in order to garner sympathy and adulation. The saddest part is, he feels he needs to perform in order to do that. The Priest PR agency seems to have employed a few inane commenters, but they're so over the top, it makes the whole thing sadder. In late 2018 Tipton was already quickly deteriorating and they actually said he can't play on more than two songs. He made one appearance in 2019 when he seemed in pain. In 2020 Halford said he can't play anything anymore - but since his memory is failing, he has forgotten. What Tipton "plays" here is what was recorded during one of his 2018 appearances - if one's got time on their hands, might find out which one.
@@insightfloww It's crazy that they've got him appearing at nearly every show on the current leg of the "50 Years" US tour if that's the case. It's difficult, and unfortunate, if he's just miming, if JP feels they need him still for validity, if GT can't let go - all of it. Hate to see heroes go out like that :(

It's gotta crash at some point, man. If he can alter the way he sings to fit his new range, he'd still sound really good. His lower range is still fully intact.
The dude I saw drum for them at the Metal Masters tour 2008 was a dude who had shoulder length hair and a really dark brown color. And he was older looking. This dude is new and younger. Maybe their other drummer got the RONA & this dude filled in??
@@MasterSumai no. This is Scott. He's been in the band for 30 years. He probably just changer his hair or something. He's always been in good shape for his age.
Surprised they released this. Pretty mediocre performance from an amazing band. They don't need the piped in backup vocals. Much stronger moments (and songs) on this tour.

Mad respect for sure. 70 is fucking awesome.
No shit they're not in their prime, most of them are in their 70s! Their "Prime" was the late 70s to the mid 90s. They're still fucking amazing 🤘😝🤘
I hope they live long enough to perform in corbin Kentucky

Idev done anything if he came out at my show lol
Bless Glenn Tipton. He is truly the Defender of the Metal Faith🤘🏻
Just like other band's from the 70s, Priest has gotten older but my god Halford and the rest of the guy's can still rock like nobody's business.
Heartbraking to see Glenn this physically weak. But still he rocks the crowd. All the best to you Glenn, never surrender to your desease!
Parkinson's is a terrible disease. It may sound macabre, but I didn't expect him to make it this far. He's a fighter.
They were so damn good that night, loved being in the crowd.

I love seeing Glenn so much. He still looks amazing. So badass. Hearing all the Cheers for the legend warms my heart.

how sad to see Glen in this way.. truly legend!
I don't think Glenn really knew where he was, and most likely not even plugged in. As a die hard fan since 1974, it was a bit hard to watch.
