honestly, you'll get very similar performance whether you use a single tower or even go with an AIO. I would choose based on budget and aesthetic preference, overall there will be very little performance difference between all 3 with an X3D CPU
Hey man, i ve recently buy a ryzen 7 7800x3d and i saw on the description that u have undervolted the cpu. Is it really worth it if i get around 75ºC playing rust? Is it safe? It would be crazy if u do a tutorial of it. Nice content btw very useful
in the artificial tests yeah, in actual practice it performed pretty much 95% as well.. is there a difference yeah, but for 20% of the cost i'd say it's a pretty attractive choice
The site i configure my pc has AOI almost as cheap as air fans. I just fear leaks or maintanance mistakes since im a noob with pcs. SHould i still go for it if price isnt an issue?
@@pyurologie well this is just it my room gets very hot in the British summer from 27c which is now currently to near 30c. My pc now is currently idling at 52c but soon as i play an intense game it will shoot up to high 70s to low 80s and then crash when it gets near 87c. it really is pissing me off. I have 6 case fans and x2 air cooler fans. my air cooler is Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 CPU Air Cooler, 7 Heat pipes
@@paranormalrespectingspirit5190 I have a 5800X3D wit a 280 AIO and live in South Africa. 30C is not that hot. I would recommend checking the thermal paste application and fan setup. you should be fine. if not then ID Cooling has pretty cheap and good quality AIR and AIO coolers to choose from
i have a dual fan giant air block , thee dark rock pro 4 ,,, i wonder if would have been equal, your air cooler was 180w tdp, mine is 250w tdp not reallly sure
performance wise it wont make a huge impact, so it depends if the cost is worth the aesthetics or slightly lower temps for you. personally, there are probably other areas you could spend to make a larger impact on your overall experience
i recently build an amd 7800x3d 7900xtx pc, right now im using the be quiet! Pure Rock 2, corsair h150i rgb pro xt is from my older build would there be a much difference in temps, while playing bf2042 the 7800x3d average around 70c would be nice to get it around 60-65c.
AIO would give u better temps when playing games. Any games that uses the Vcache a lot like MMORPG or Sim games, will increase the entire package of CPU temps a lot which would bring both AIO and AIR coolers to perform the same. At lower CPU load or Vcache usage, you will get better performance and lower temps with the AIO.
you can honestly use any cooler you want and it'll be adequate for that chip, but here's my favorites best bang for buck, ID COOLING SE214XT: amzn.to/4fef9YX awesome for the money and good performance, Thermalright Peerless Assassin: amzn.to/3UWCMgL
I'm getting 7800x3d i've some question, currently i'm using ID-COOLING SE-224-XTS with i5-11400f. Most of the time i play FPS like Valorant, pubg, CS2. Do i really need to change the cooler. if its needed i would probably change but im already spent most of my money LMAO
short, straight to the point & easy to follow. new sub! keep up the great work
thank you very much! appreciate it, much love
Great vid man, thanks. Happy to see EFT in these benchmark vids
thanks so much!
Thank you, no other UA-camr brought up that VS.
you're welcome, hope you liked the video!
Thanks for bringing up Tarkov to the tests, i love it and the test helps a lot
Was thinking about going to a aio for my first build but I think sticking with the fan is much better since it’s my first time
great video! i didnt expect there to be that much difference.
yeah when stressed artificially, there's a decent gap, but in practice not really
Amazing presentation.
thanks so much for the kind feedback, hope it was helpful/informative!
nice video, i must say i cheaped out and bought only an pearless assassin 120 pe and my god it still works wonders
great thing about the X3D is that "cheaping out" doesn't mean you're gonna lose out on much, whether it's the cooling, mobo, or RAM
Exactly the vid I needed boss ty
i g⚙t u
I’m upgrading pc and going with this cpu and a 4070 super. No idea what to expect but very excited
Finally my requested Video 😊
Do single tower coolers work better in AMD? Or two towers?
Which one do you recommend between AK500,AK620 or Deepcool Assasian iv?

here you go, undervolting Ryzen 7000 guide: ua-cam.com/video/-D2gPn95jS8/v-deo.html
On air cooler, undervolt it to lower your temps to be closer to the AIO.
My mate said the same, I've got my new pc in the basket just need to buy. I was just wandering if he was right thanks for the info
With ak620 digital +7800x3d + cinebench r23 I reached a result of 19498
nice!
Damn, that's a big difference
in the artificial tests yeah, in actual practice it performed pretty much 95% as well.. is there a difference yeah, but for 20% of the cost i'd say it's a pretty attractive choice

thx so much!

i mean, it's possible for it to happen but i'd say rare. yes, if price is no issue I'd say go with AIO
Killing it bro
thanks man, much love
My temps keep hitting up to 85c on a massive beefy air cooler on an AMD 7 7800x3d. Going to try aio coolers see if this helps
hmm that seems very high. have you tried reseating? do you have enough case airflow?

it would probably perform almost equal or just equal to the AIO with a more powerful air cooler
Hey, what do you think is AIO 120mm doible fan is worth changing to noctua d15 (its more than double size of your air cooler)?
performance wise it wont make a huge impact, so it depends if the cost is worth the aesthetics or slightly lower temps for you. personally, there are probably other areas you could spend to make a larger impact on your overall experience

Could've used temperature comparisons.
yeah i guess i didn't include them.. basically about a 5-7c difference. AIO was running around high 50s. air was running around low 60s
guys is the 80$ deepcool ak620 enough for 7800x3d
more than enough
is a dark rock pro 4 good for a 7800x3d? or should i just make the aio swap?
It's more than enough.

Changing is not needed.
I have be quiet pure rock 2 fx black coz at malaysia price for aio is insane.. I think my air should be fine
by all respect but thats a sh*t air cooler :D
the whole point is to show you don't need a great cooler you absolute genius 🤓
