      Satvahana's origin is Maharashtra only because from the very beginning from Simuka it's territory was within Maharashtra. All inscriptions found in Maharashtra and very rare in Andhra pradesh. Puranas wrongly mentioned that Satvahanas were andhras because they were written very much after Satvahanas rule. Also Satvahanas coins mostly found in Maharashtra. Naganika was daughter of MAHARATHi Tranakrai (present day name tryambakrao)

      Bruh! Satavahanas are of Andhra heritage. They just expanded their rule in Maharashtra.
      There's no such thing as marari when Satavahanas were ruling. There are many pure Telugu words used in inscriptions.
      The king name Pulumavi is a pure Telugu name.
      Even Ashoka, Greek traveller mentioned them as Andhra Satavahanas.
      They ruled from present day Andhra, Amaravati which again made as capital of Andhra now.
      Don't claim others history as yours.

    Even today, Telugus, Marathis, Kannadigas celebrate Hindu New Year on the same day - Ugadi/Gudhee Padwaa. Culture, food, traditions across the Deccan plateau is similar to each other even today.
    The Deccan plateau that comprises Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra/Telangana shared many empires
    Satvahana, Vakatakas, Chalukyas (Badami), Rashtrakutas, Chalukyas (Kalyani) until the advent of Islamic invasion from the north after 1296 CE.
    The Seuna Yadavas, a part of the Chalukyas, started promoting Marathi language in their official courts.
    Until then, Kannada and Sanskrit were the languages of the region.
    Many Kannada inscriptions have been found in present day Maharashtra.
    Marathi was first written in Kannada script, followed by MoDee script.
    Even the Maratha Empire used MoDee script.
    Devanagri was adopted as script in the 1950s after spineless Marathi politicians surrendered to Delhi.
    Even Gujarati refused to adopt Devanagri to preserve their separate identity.
    Sad to see Marathi people have lost their connection to beautiful MoDee script and don't know anything about the history of Pre-Maratha period.

    The available evidence tends to show that the home of the Satavahanas in Maharashtra rather than in Andhra province. The Jain tradition mentions Pratisthana or Paithan in Marathvada as the capital of the Satavahanas. Naneghat and Nasik are within about 200 miles to the west of Paithan and one can therefore well understand how the earliest Satavahana records are found inscribed at these places. It is not unlikely that some deity in the vicinity of Naneghat was the tutelary god of the Satavahanas, which induced them to have their statues and early records at that place. The queen of the third ruler of the dynasty was the daughter of a Maharathi chief and there is ample evidence to show that Berar and Maharashtra were studded with Rathika and Bhoja feudatories. More than 75 per cent. of the Satavahana epigraphs have been found in Maharashtra; this renders it extremely probable that their home lay somewhere in that province.

    Two years ago a telugu movie was made called Gowtamiputra Satakarni
    The dynasty ruled from Amaravati on the banks of river Krishna near Guntur.
    The name is pronounced with a long s saatavaahana and not satvahana
    The lady queen had coins minted in her name The dynasty ruled for 300 years but sadly
    no textbooks talk about them even in Andhra Praseh.

      whatever might be the present intentions of Marathas But the three Deccan States Maharashtra Karnataka and Telangana and to some extent, parts of AP share common history. For two millennium They were under the reign of satavahanas rashtrakutas chalukyas bahmani Sultanate and finally under the Nizam . still people at the border areas maintain relations. people from Marathwada and Hyderabad Karnataka migrate more to Hyderabad than Mumbai or Bengaluru.
      For me The idea of South India being a separate nation is acceptable but it's not feasible. what if Karnataka does not agree with Tamilnadu policies. what if Kerala doesn't bear the Influence of other big states.

At Kotilingala in Telangana, coins bearing the legend "Rano Siri Chimuka Satavahanasa" were found. Epigraphist and numismastist P. V. P. Sastry initially identified Chimuka with the dynasty's founder Simuka, Coins attributed to Simuka's successors Kanha and Satakarni I were also discovered at Kotilingla. The various Puranas state that the first king of the dynasty ruled for 23 years, and mention his name variously as Sishuka, Sindhuka, Chhismaka, Shipraka, etc. These are believed to be corrupted spellings of Simuka, .....According to the Puranas, the first Andhra king overthrew the Kanva rule. He is named as Balipuccha in some texts.[45] D. C. Sircar dated this event to c. 30 BCE, a theory supported by many other scholars.[42]
    The Matsya Purana mentions that the Andhra dynasty ruled for around 450 years. As the Satavahana rule ended in the early 3rd century, the beginning of their rule can be dated to the 3rd century BCE. The Indica of Megasthenes (350 - 290 BCE) mentions a powerful tribe named "Andarae", whose king maintained an army of 100,000 infantry, 2,000 cavalry and 1,000 elephants. If Andarae is identified with the Andhras, this can be considered additional evidence of Satavahana rule starting in the 3rd century BCE."....WIKI

    Satavahana empire, mentioned as Andhra Satavahana, started in Krishna,Guntur districts of current Andhra Pradesh then extended in to current regions of Maharashtra, Karnataka, and later much of central and west india. In the current terms,their empire later largely evolved in to north western marathi speaking maharashtra, and south eastern telugu speaking Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

    • @kmrsong
      @kmrsong 3 роки тому

      Rahul- To my knowledge, Iam not a linguist. Prakrut those days was spoken with various dialects, like Telugu, Marathi,Kannada . Thats why you can find lot of similarities in culture, festivals like ugadi, the salivahana Sakha (the Hindu calender ) similarity in words in these languages. Later these dialects transformed in to languages like Telugu, Marathi, kannada and even Malayalam.

    • @kmrsong
      @kmrsong 3 роки тому

      @Hemant Adhikari some say that Sanskrit is the mother of all other languages. The prakrit is in one of the local dialect of Sanskrit . Later on Prakrut has become a language by it self. After some period Prakrut evolved in to many dialects in south of vindyas .The present day Marathi, Telugu, kannada Malayalam, Tamil and others are believed to be derived from Prakkrut . . Prakrut was used to be written in Brahmii script. Thats why all these languages as mentioned above adapt a script that is derivative from Brahmi . Marathi has adapted Devnagari in recent history.The Dravidian languages concept introduced by bishops in 19 th century in Madras presidency with an aim to drive the wedge between North and south.The AIT was also one of the tool employed as a wedge .Now AIT was found completely baseless with out having any evidences.
