You made me hungry. Its 2 am here in the Catskills and I had to run to the kitchen & build two ham & swiss on toast sandwiches. Like your experiments....
A great video, Carl, really enjoyed your cooking segment and the review of the cob web antenna,it seems to be a good preformer, with some directivity like a beam, but it seems also tobe a little cumbersome to setup and carry around, but that is just my opinion, as that maybe a small price to pay for great preformance. Again, Carl, thank you for sharing.
I had a similar issue with a Cobweb years ago where the end fed vertical would always outgun it. Maybe it’s down to takeoff as i am pretty much surrounded by hills…Good video and good food, thanks for sharing.
Hi Carl. Super video. Great idea with the HT's always good to get people on the air. Ive just missed out in buying a cobweb. Been looking at a FT991a. Think that would be a big ask from Santa 😂😂 73
Carl nice idea regarding the giveaway have a great festive season we are due to spend the Christmas up in Shropshire I will be radio equipped if your on the air. 73 M7CVK Tony.
got water in my balun box but mind been up a mast the last few weeks might put two drill holes in the bottem and some sealant around the case and screws the side were you trim for swr and balun sides are the best rf sides
I just bought the Tidradio TD-H8 a few hours ago. Should arrive tomorrow via Amazon. I like the idea of 10 watts, I will do a power output test. The screen also sold me over a Baofeng. Plan on using it for portable ISS contacts with the Arrow antenna. How do you find the Cobweb antenna? Looking for something on the smaller side for HF at the home QTH. Do you feel it would up to a permanent installation? Donate those HT’s to some young operators who just got there ticket. It might just start a live long love of amateur radio.
I'd like to nominate myself as I've never won anything from stations that i subscribe too :) great video as always , ill continue to watch win or not .73 Carl.
I could normate my local radio group, who could use one or two of those radio's. As a loan system for new radio users, until they could get their own. From Ricky G1YPM

The big questions of the day . . . . . How long did you cook it for ? And was it 'pullable' ?
Looked good though !!
I cooked it for just over an hour, could have done with 15 mins more so that it fell apart
