I diy'd my microlocs 2weeks ago on 3-4 in of hair and interlocked from ends to root. I'm definitely loving it. I didn't band when I washed and they fluffed out which I'm excited about cuz I plan on switching to the 3 point rotation. Thanks for sharing as always and your locs are so beautiful ❤️

I was dealing with sore scalp with each retie. I wish I could blame a loctician, but I maintain my own locs. 😂
I'm working on not interlocking too tight, which happens most times because I get impatient.

I would try to focus on how many rotations you’re doing. See how your scalp feels after just one rotation and go from there.
