From what I can tell, the handles for the shields seem to be taken straight from the valuable pod set just like the shield facades and the saber hilts. The R-Gyagya is essentially an R-Jarja with a Valuable pod upgrade... And extra parts for flavor. And I love it to bits.

This is one of those kits whose design I disliked from the outset, but eventually grew on me and it's now become a must-have lol. Still holding out hope that I'll find one someday!

The appearance of this and the r jarja are great but it definitely needs a redesign. The main gimmicks are the shoulder armor/weapons that are supposed to move to give the suit increased protection and some attack options even when enemies get close behind them. I don't really know how they were cool with the shoulders being the weakest part when it should be the strongest
This was one of my first gundam kits, i have a partially dissasembled one around my house somewhere because i planned on customizing it but never got to it.
I got into building gunpla last year and the Gyan was my first ever HG kit and i absolutely love it's design, so i definitely need to find and buy this one! Thanks for a great review!
the connections for the shield when being held in the hands is originally meant for the old HGUC Gyan with them clips on the much bulkier arms, mind you not the Revive Gyan and I owned both versions of the HG Gyan.
Never had the slightest chance to buy this kit. This one is of the few kits like the Super Custom Zaku F2000 and GM Sniper K9 that ended up totally sold out in my country in just 2~3 days.
Really do wish these weren't so difficult to find, they're definitely sweet, and it's certainly one of the more solid build fighters kits in general, as well.
I loved it, the shoulders were prone to falling off, but i still loved the design, sadly, mine took a tumble off a shelf and the one of the sockets in the water basically disintegrated beyond being able to glue
Very nice, I can see some great paint jobs applied to this suit. I do however wish the Gatling guns could be removed and used in the hand and just stored in the back. Otherwise it seems silly from an engineering perspective to have them facing backwards

It looks good but the joint problems is what make think twice if buy it or not, i have a Nu Gundam and he have a slightly joint problem (wich can be fixed with polish nail), but looking at Gyagya with those big shoulders, im gonna need to put more polish nail on it so, no xwx

Agree. Those loose shoulders get in the way of flexing those majestic arms. It is sad for it is really good aesthetically, and with the articulation to boot.
If the kit sold for $20~ before tax and shipping it'd be a great buy, true, but currently I haven't found this kit for less than $40 pre-tax (shipping included) and typically I've seen it for about the price of an MG. For that price you could just buy the Durga II RE:2 from Kotobukiya if you really want a knight style mecha. It even comes in that silver injection plastic. But if this had a moving mono-eye like the Char's Zaku revive (I think that's the one) then I'd honestly be willing to shell out more. That sticker mono-eye is just disappointing considering how good the rest of the kit looks.

Just want to ask, I want to get this kit but I hear the shoulders are very loose is it that bad of play/posing for time to time. I really new at building gunpla so I dont really know how to fix stuff like that.
Curious what the runner for the arm shield attachments is labelled as. It looks like the one from Gyan, which would explain the width, but that only had the left arm. Weird.

As far as knight themed kits, I usually find them corny... but I absolutely love this one! The weapon/posing options are great too!

Yeah, the Zaku F2000 is such a hard to get kit, I really wish Bandai would give the Gunpla Builders kits a reprint.
I managed to get the GM Sniper K9. But yeah the Super Custom Zaku F2000 is pretty much impossible to get now.
Gyanko has good taste, both her MS are the only Build Fighters kits other than the Dom R35 that I let share the UC shelf.
