How to level your site for your above ground pool. Note: Sand should NOT be used for leveling. Sand is only a buffer. The undisturbed earth should be leveled.
If you were going to go through the trouble to make a video about this don't you think it would've made more sense to start with a blank slate and not last year's mess? Video should be titled how to level a site for a pool that's already previously been used for a pool.
Crushed stone will puncture your line. Remove the grass to fresh soil( roughly just about an inch) pack it down with a tamper (can rent at most home depots or rental centers) and then do a layer of masonry sand about 1/2 to 1 thick (however thick it was to remove grass pretty much? and pack it down with the tamper then smooth out with a simple 2x4 or anything with a smooth edge. Should be good to go. Crushed stone is good for around the outside to help with weed whiping around the pool and not having to make contact and rip the liner
What did you do to the grass that was once in the area that the sand is in and your pool? I have a backyard with grass in the area my pool will be on. My question is do I have to dig out the area where the grass is and put sand into it? Or do I actually put the sand above the grass? Please advise
@@sharikahamilton8497 You absolutely need to remove the grass/sod, you can rent a sod cutter from Home Depot and get it cut out pretty quick, it's the rolling up and moving the sod that takes some time.

Doesn't demonstrate how to level the land, doesn't explain tools involved other than a trailer ramp on a lawnmower, doesn't state the size of the pool area, doesn't explain how much sand to use, doesn't explain how to begin when there was no previous pool. Rent a laser level from Home Depot (or buy one on amazon). Pull a ramp with a lawn mower.

Is it advisable or not to pour the sand in a frame to prevent the sand from settling outward?
It is advisable but not neccessary if you use the right sand that packs
