Visiting Mercy Ministries - Bungoma, Kenya
In November of 2019 our family visited Kenya to serve at Mercy Ministries. Mercy Ministries consist of Mercy Home, an orphanage where nearly 100 children live. Mercy Christian Academy, where the children in the home, as well as children from the surrounding community, receive an education. Mercy Baptist Church ministers to the community in the form of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Mercy Ministries also feeds community children throughout the week and takes groceries to widows in the area.

What size pool is that ?
Utterly useless video. Doesn't demonstrate how to level the land, doesn't explain tools involved other than a trailer ramp on a lawnmower, doesn't state the size of the pool area, doesn't explain how much sand to use, doesn't explain how to begin when there was no previous pool. I could go on and on.
New pool this year. Is it wrong to just dump crushed stone on top of the grass and level as best as possible?
Crushed stone will puncture your line. Remove the grass to fresh soil( roughly just about an inch) pack it down with a tamper (can rent at most home depots or rental centers) and then do a layer of masonry sand about 1/2 to 1 thick (however thick it was to remove grass pretty much? and pack it down with the tamper then smooth out with a simple 2x4 or anything with a smooth edge. Should be good to go. Crushed stone is good for around the outside to help with weed whiping around the pool and not having to make contact and rip the liner

Only a few planned houses were started on random lots. All of the lots weren't built on, and some of the houses were demolished.

If you were going to go through the trouble to make a video about this don't you think it would've made more sense to start with a blank slate and not last year's mess? Video should be titled how to level a site for a pool that's already previously been used for a pool.
No blocks under the legs? No leg leveling?
Is it advisable or not to pour the sand in a frame to prevent the sand from settling outward?
It is advisable but not neccessary if you use the right sand that packs

First of all that's not a transit. It's a laser level and you can rent them cheap at any rental place. Or if you are me just get one at work.

Rent a laser level from Home Depot (or buy one on amazon). Pull a ramp with a lawn mower.

What’s that Lowe’s wrap you put down?
It's a home wrap used in building. Goes behind siding of houses. It's similar to tarp material so used it for extra layer of protection against punctures.

Nice drone filming ! It was a land fraud scheme. The developers never intended to complete the project. Just put up paper and card board townhouses to look like a multi million dollar investment. Then take the bank's money and run. The developers are now in jail.

What did you do to the grass that was once in the area that the sand is in and your pool? I have a backyard with grass in the area my pool will be on. My question is do I have to dig out the area where the grass is and put sand into it? Or do I actually put the sand above the grass? Please advise

@@sharikahamilton8497 You absolutely need to remove the grass/sod, you can rent a sod cutter from Home Depot and get it cut out pretty quick, it's the rolling up and moving the sod that takes some time.

How's it holding up after almost a year?
+Gage Hoover this video was from the second year setting it up. We just set it up for the third year. It's got a little bit of rust on some of the poles where they rub together. The newer ones use a plastic connection to keep from wearing on the paint.

+Mz Tweety it's not "mounted". It just sets in place, but it does have a hook under the front of it that hangs over the front of the table/bench.
